***Official November 2013 - Part II*** (that's right....we're that popular!)

OBA! NO!!! He can't be sick.

I'm getting nervous here. I've been popping Airbourne and now wondering if the reason I'm feeling chilly is because I'm starting to get sick. No NOT happening.
Seriously debating going to lay down. This day light savings is going to kill me.
Honest! I get messed up with my sleep so easy. I used to be so much easier to function with hardly any sleep but now......ugh
Yes I'm starting to get nervous about Disney schedule cause mornings have been tough, but then again it's the cold room vs warm bed battle.
That will be less an issue at Disney.

LOL keeping secrets from us?

Wow. Now I'm feeling guilty. OK, I confess, I bought my daughter 2 tiaras also. And some iron knee boat pants from Lands End for my oldest boy since his are getting short and those are the only pants he will wear. Whew. I feel better now.
: )

Too funny, and yes, I feel better :) How do you like the wedge ones?

Thanks, took me to a weird page though, the ponchos were there, but it didn't look like a regular Amazon page. I think I'll grab a pack.

Cool, I want to see them.

Oh no, I hope he gets better fast. Keep us posted.

I just got them Friday and haven't actually worn them yet, but I think I like them even better! Ill keep you posted once I really get to try them out. I got the obscure grey, if anyone is wondering.
I also noticed the wedge seems bigger in the picture of these on amazon too!

Yeah, I saw them in the store this summer and they have the same size wedge as the ones I have - no idea why they look so much bigger in the picture. Those definitely would stay on the foot better, but I didn't like having the straps all over my foot and my foot is wide so they dug in a bit on me, if it wasn't for my wider foot I definitely would have gotten those. You better put them on and break them in a bit then you can see if there are any spots that rub that may need mole skin or something.

I love the Capri sandles by Crocs. I've worn them the past several trips and never had any issues with blisters or sore feet.

OK 4 days.....

Heres a fun totally u important question....

Where is your first meal going to take place????!

Mine is California Grill during Wishes!

Wow great choice :thumbsup2

We will we dining at T Rex in DTD after DD gets her shop on. It's kinda of a tradition not to go to the parks on our first day. So lunch at T Rex, shopping then back to the resort for swimming and early to bed for our first full day at the parks pixiedust:

My DH has been sick for at least two weeks. He has a doc appointment tomorrow, I have a feeling the doc is going to tell him he has pneumonia. On,y 20 days to go for us.

I'm sorry to hear your DH is so sick. Glad he's going to the doctors and you still have time for him to feel better :goodvibes

Our first full day dinner will be Liberty Tree Tavern. Never ate there before, and got a 6:50 seating on a MVMCP night (that we aren't staying for) so will be able to maximize our time there with the early public-close.
And my favorite flip flops are Sanuk. The bottoms are made of yoga mats.

Enjoy your dinner at Liberty Tree we always went when our kids were younger and they had Minnie, Goofy and Chip & Dale so cute.

I never had any issues with the flats in the same style. Although my feet have gotten wider since having kids, they started out super thin, and I have an obsurdly low instep as well, so I don't know how they would be for wider feet. Hopefully I won't have any issues with the wedge either.
My sister did wear hers in the parks when she went to Disney in January btw, and had no issues...I just asked her. : ) hopefully we will get another warm day before we leave so I don't have to freeze my feet to really try them out!
And I forgot, our first meal is chef Mickey's. I was told by 3 of my real life friends that I absolutely HAD to have our first meal there to get us in the Disney spirit. Since I already am, I can only assume they must be referring to my Disney-grouch husband : )

Kinda glad it doesn't have characters now. My daughter freaked out with them at meals last year. Maybe a day to warm up to them in the parks first will help the meals!

Cleaned the house and washed all our clothes including the ones for our trip. Everything pressed and ready for the suitcases. I won't put things in the suitcases till next weekend. Stopped at Walmart for a few last minute odds and ends. Lists are made just have to get through this week of work and Monday the following week.

I took off the day before we leave to have a stress free day before our super early flight on Wednesday. Booked DD and I mani/pedis the day befoer we leave can't wait :cloud9:

Hope everyone has a great week free from illness and stress :goodvibes

Absolutely and the characters are really great at sensing if a child is afraid. When we took our youngest to Disney she just turned 5 and wanted nothing to do with Mickey or any character where she couldn't see their face.

There is probably still a fork in The Land ride from when she threw hers over the railing at Garden Grill when Chip or Dale popped in our booth unexpectedly.
And she spilled my Sprite at both Chef Mickey and Tusker House when characters came -- all over my lap. At least it was clear.
Yet for some reason, I didn't learn and booked five characters meals again!

19 days to go! Wow! Still have so much to do!

I'm still calling Disney every day to try and add a day at the beginning of our stay. No luck so far. We do have a room only ressie, but I really don't want to worry about checking out / in again or having to change rooms. I could have gotten it all on one package when I called a few days ago if I'd given up GV for Standard. Dumb me, I wanted to keep the garden view. I should have just switched.

We also need shoes for the parks. The kids wore Crocs last time, but they don't have any (and refuse to) anymore. Think we'll look into the Teva's. Thanks for all the good ideas!

Like some others, my house is a disaster and I'm having a hard time focusing on getting it clean. I would absolutely hire somebody to help, if I could find someone willing. Nobody wants a "one time" gig, though.

We are driving down and my car needs some TLC, too. Ugh.

DD just got over some nasty bronchial thing that required a long round of antibiotics and steroids. So, we never got in for our flu shots. Hoping to get that done within the next week. Hope we all get pixiedust: and that all the sickies are done and over with for our trips!

I'm trying to get most of the Christmas shopping done before we leave. Our first day back home will be Dec. 1st, so I don't want to have a lot left. Oh boy.

One of my DD's picked out her outfits, rolled them up, and put each outfit into a ziploc bag and then into her luggage today. Other DD made her list and started setting stuff aside. They are way ahead of me! I got out my luggage.:rotfl:

Our first meal in Disney will likely be at the POR foodcourt and our first ADR is at Boatwrights. Since we are driving down, we will be exhausted and plan on spending our first day at the resort. Day 2 we have lunch FP+ for BOG and dinner at O'Hana's! Really looking forward to those!

Bah! This is hysterical! And I only say that because it is likely to be me too! Oddly though, when we went to Dutch Wonderland, my kids did not like ANY of the face characters, but 2 were ok with the dragon. I too, decided to book 6 character meals. I hope we both don't regret it. Although we could have some pretty entertaining stories to share with everyone!

Oh my gosh poor little thing and poor Mom. You gotta keep trying hope you are able to enjoy the characters meals this trip :goodvibes

We love T Rex and always eat there at least once every trip. DD loves their flat bread pizza it's an appetizer but very filling. I love their chicken avocado sandwich very yummy. It can get loud but lots of fun.
