***Official November 2013 - Part II*** (that's right....we're that popular!)

I think your plan to visit the F&W on Thursday is a good choice! :thumbsup2 Thanks. Glad to know someone thinks I reasoned it out well. ;)

The passport is a free hand out Disney finally came up with that lists every item available at every booth. Each booth will even stamp it for you if you want! We used to buy the generic World Showcase passports and just write everything down; we were happy this specific passport was developed. Well that is pretty cool. I have a home-made general passport from one of the DISigners that we are going to try to get the country stamps for. I'm liking the idea of a passport for the different booths. Do they just hand it out at the turnstiles?

The Festival Center is where many of the seminars are held and the F&W gift shop and wine store are located. It's the big building between Ellen's Energy and Mission Space. Ahh, ok.

By budget room, I meant if there was room in your budget for tickets. Only general admission tickets are left for the Nov 2 event, and they run about $145/person. Yeah, this year I'm not going to be able to do any extra stuff. This wound up being a pretty last minute (for me) trip following on a really expensive late summer trip. My actual goal is to manage to do the trip without spending a penny I haven't spent already. (Stockpile of Disney Gift Cards that are left over from summer) ;)

After this trip you will want to come back next year to try the seminars and special events! We love the F&W!

That is a definite!! I want to go back just to go back, I don't even need to want to go to seminars and special events. :rotfl:

Disney is apparently going to start collecting CC information for ADR beginning Nov. 1. New $10 charge for no-shows. Anyone encounter this yet? Wonder if the CMs know? :rotfl2:

Thanks so much for all of the info! Re: the BOG, how did you get a numeric confirmation number? The only one i have has letters in it. Thank you!!

Go to online checkin on MDE. Click on it (you don't have to actually check in). Quickly, look at the address bar on your browser. There should be a 12 digit number as part of the URL. That's the number you use.

Good luck! I couldn't get one. When I enter my info, I get "Guest already registered." I'm not. :confused3

Also, if you hover over the modify check in (no clicking) the number will appear in the lower left hand corner of your browser window.

When I made all my ADR's online for Nov 11-16 I had to give a CC number, and it said it will be charged the $10 if not cancelled within 24 hours of reservation.

The only ADR that currently has a CC Guarantee for us is the Character breakfast at Tusker House... All the other "non-character" related ADRs were not guaranteed as far as I am aware...

Our Crystal Palace lunch was, too. When I tried cancelling it online, I got "This reservation can not be cancelled online." The CM told me it was CC Guaranteed and that's why. However, it still shows up in MDE even though I've cancelled it (multiple times! LOL :crazy2:)

I didn't have to give any cc info for any of my adrs. But we're not doing any character breakfasts or bog. Anyway with fd there really is no reason to miss any of my adrs.

I had to give cc info for almost all my ADR's...we are doing 6 of 8 meals character meals!

La Nouba....is it worth it? I reallllllyyyyy want to see this but it's sooooo expensive:headache:

My son (16) refuses to do character breakfasts. Our adrs are The Wave, Trails End, Kona, Via Napoli, Rose and crown,Mama Melrose and The GRAND Floridian cafe. I don't think any of them required a cc hold.

I think the detailed instructions are elsewhere in this thread and others, but the reservation number you get with a package, with letters in it, does not work. I find the number-only number under the MagicBand customization information. I also heard a Magical Express number will work. But the system is very finicky, it seems.

I am not doing it this time although it is TOTALLY worth the price! I think this is the best of all the cirque shows. Now my husband is not a fan so I decided I would go to another cirque show that I haven't seen another time. : )

Those all sound wonderful! I wish I could try them myself! This is my kids first trip so I decided to focus on the characters while they enjoy them. I'm sure soon enough (it will seem) they will be 16 too. : (

I personally would not have minded a character breakfast at the poly. That's my favorite with lilo and stich. Though my son wants a buffet breakfast just no characters so I ended up getting The Wave since its right on the monorail line and were going to epcot that day.

It's too bad because if they did I would definitely consider buying MVMCP tickets then , but I can definitely understand how it would be too much of a demand. 46 days until we arrive :cool1: My husband saw some bags in the back of the minivan and asked me about them. I told him I had brought bags out to the car to donate in the bin near the school but forgot to drop them off. He looked relieved :confused3 I asked him what he thought they were for and he said "I thought you were already packing the car for Disney" :rotfl:

We are at 46 days to & received our DME package, now just waiting for Mickey Mail!!! :) What a great anniversary present!!! :)

hmmm I'm confused but that's not anything surprising today. :confused3

I just figured the ADRs were all attached to my CC on file.
I know I've cancelled some ADRs on line so now you have me wondering if they are really cancelled. I assume if I don't see them in my itinerary then they are.
Now given I haven't cancelled and ADRs and only maybe rearranged times.....

Interesting.
Well I know the CC guarenteed ones have charges, and I think it's only fair that there be some kind of charge for those that are no-shows since they took the slot for someone that might have loved to have that ADR.

Just my opinion.

Oh thank you so much for this laugh!!!
I really needed it.

My suitcases are open and get the occasional tossed item in them.
But they won't be going in the car since my friend is driving to the airport.

45 days for us today.

Still hitting 90 degrees here, so I can't pack my Orlando stuff yet - I'm still wearing some of it! :beach:
