***Official November 2013 - Part II*** (that's right....we're that popular!)

Wow, haven't been on in a few days- been busy with work and kids and activities- and now we have a new thread!
I called the base rec. center today and was told that they are now ordering the new military tickets! Guess who will be stopping by on the way home from work tomorrow- this gal!
Then I though I could check MDE and low and behold- I'm able to customize magic bands! Just gotta wait for everyone to get home to see what color they want.
It says I only have 8 days left to customize. Does anyone know if I can link my military park tickets at any point? Thanks!

Thanks everyone for the feel better and for those of you also sniffling...there is no way we can be sick the next 50+ days!!!! Aint happening!

I did an April Mother/son trip one year and the allergies killed me when we landed. Totally caught me off guard. It was horrible. And I was with my 13 year old son alone so it wasn't like I could send him off and sleep. He was a trouper and called me one too. I just went to the gift shops and pumped the cold/allergy meds until I found the right combination.

I'm ready this time. I'm bringing a supply with me. And I will have tons of those little tissue packs stuffed in all my small pockets of everything. LOL
So with that prep, all will be well. Right? :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

But ya advise to anyone with seasonal allergies. If you have an allergy med bring it with you. I'm sure there will be a pollen down there mid november that we don't have up here in mid november.

Ok back to lay down.
Just swallowed another dose of Airbourne.

Funny part is my husband reminded me I was sick at Disney on our honeymoon too. That was first week in November. Well as Figmentchick said, I hope this is a getting it over with thing.

:flower3:

My first ever WDW trip is in November :hyper:

Random question: I just wanted to know how much are t-shirts in the park (for souvenirs) on average? I know a common souvenir for everyone to buy but buying them at a Disney store is not the same....plus there is no Disney store near me

See, this is a hard one. The regular cotton t-shirts run about $20-$30, I think. But I like the super-soft ones and the ones that actually contour to a woman's body, so I spend an average of $35 per shirt.

Does that help?

Yes you can link your military tickets once you buy them. I was able to link my military salute tickets. Just used the MDE app to scan the back barcode on the card and it uploaded to the site. Just needed to designate who was getting that ticket. I wrote in the corner of the ticket who I designated it to so when we activate them at the park I know who gets what card incase there is a problem with the magicbands.

I am not a dessert person I'm doing it so I can sit and watch wishes. I am stubborn I don't want an evc apbut my knees still healing lol
We got ress for the dessert party on the 10th. We went to it in 2011 and loved it. Celebrating my mother's 70th birthday:cool1:

Thanks for the info! I just went on to pretend I was doing it and saw where that's available. Will it still work even if I already have the magic bands here and we don't get the tickets back before they send the bands?

The MB should still work. All the MB is, is a link to your account. So, your account may contain, room resv., park tickets, FP+, etc. All the MB does when you use a touch point is allow the system to access your account to be sure you are allowed to do what you are trying to do. So, if your tickets are linked to your account, regardless of when you personalized your MBs, the touch point should 'see' your tickets. It's the linking that seem to be causing issues for some.

Got my FastPass done, customized my magic bands today AND paid trip off. 46 days and counting :). One last thing to do...need to rent a stroller for my 5 yr old. Anyone use a service that will deliver to CBR for the week? I didn't like park ones last year.

I have 48 days left and I've also paid off my trip, customized my MBs and selected my FPs. Now I'm bored. :)

I saw a lot of people who said they were happy with apple strollers. https://www.applestroller.com/ My youngest is 6, but he will be so close to 7 that I think I'm going to chance it and make him walk everywhere, but he is my drama king and when he gets tired, cranky and hungry we all pay for it. We are not going full out commando this time though so hopefully he will survive.

Last time I loved kingdom strollers, they came with some extras like rain cover, parent tray and cooler. This time I am renting a scooter for my mom so went ahead and booed the stroller form apple too. Their rentals are free except for a daily insurance or cleaning fee, the double is $7 a day. It doe snot come with the extras though, right now I am looking to or row a rain cover or will buy a big poncho or something.

That helps! Thanks! It'll give me an idea if I want to get everyone T-shirts, and what to expect.

Okay, I think I'm on overload. Dh and I were not planning on getting park hoppers added to our tickets. If we go to Epcot early in the morning, can we leave in the afternoon for a nap and then go back to Epcot later that same day?

Yes, you can enter the same park many times throughout the day...just can't go to another park.:)

I have a little bit a dilemma...I think:confused3 Earlier this week I was able to personalize our MB's for Nov 11 - 17...We have to do a split stay since were arriving on the 10th (outside the FD). So that means check in on the 10th, check out on the 11th and back in at the same time. Dilemma: Today when I went on the disney website...I have a second set of MB's for the 10th:confused3. Does that mean that we'll have two sets of bands?
