We just booked our trip! Nov13-20 at Pop. I really need to get planning. First trip for my kids so we are looking forward to "seeing" the World in a whole new way.

Well the free dining deal made us change our trip.. but for the good. We originally were staying off property for 2 weeks, 1 week each in a different condo, but we were only paying about $200 total for the 2 weeks due to a vacation club we belong too. So last week when the rumors started about free dining we starting figuring cost... car rental, estimated food cost ( we like to eat pretty good LOL) etc etc we came to the conclusion that we would actually be saving about $300 if we stayed with Mickey on the free dining deal. So we are cancelling the condos and will be staying from Oct 29th-Nov 12th at the Pop Century. Pop is the only WDW resort we have ever stayed at but we enjoy it and we don't feel the need to upgrade to a moderate or a vastly overpriced deluxe since we aren't in the room except to sleep anway. We upgraded to the regular DDP which will use up some of the savings, but to my mind being surrounded by the magic and not dealing with a car and not having to budget for meals makes it all worth it to me.

About to book All Star Movies, let me 4 year old choose the resort, will be out frist trip just him and I. November 28-Dec 3. Never been at Christmas before. Can not wait.

DH just got his time off approved. I just made the ressie at POFQ. THEN I called the kids in and said "I need help"-- They said "with what??"

Me: "picking where we should eat in Disney this Nov"

Commence screaming yelling and jumping up and down

AND as an added bonus-- we were able to get dinner at CRT on 11/16

Hi, don't hate me for asking about a week that gets asked about over and over!

I'm making myself sick worrying about going during Jersey week. Yes, I have read that the crowds are nothing compared to Spring Break, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. I have also read that the percentage of people from New Jersey is really small overall.

I have never been to Disney during a really crowded time, so my idea of crowded is quite spoiled. I've been in the beginning and end of September and the end of October and once at the end of November/beginning of December. I've been in what I consider low crowds or just a little crowded. I'm just not sure what to expect.

Can anyone who has been in September or the end of October give me their opinion on how the crowds compare?

I'm so excited. November 15-24. I hope the weather and the lack of crowds is as awesome as it was last year. My little girl will turn three in October and will finally be old enough to do BBB then CRT afterward. I know exactly what I want to do this time around so it seems a lot easier planning. Oh it's gonna be amazing!!!
