****Official November 2011 Who's Going Too and Planning Thread***

I am sooo sooo excited for our upcoming trip! This will be our first time going to MVMCP (Nov 18th) & I am thrilled to be there to see all the holiday decorations.

This is our first Disney trip during the Fall/Winter. We were supposed to go for the week of Thanksgiving in 2009, but I fell and broke my ankle the week before we left. :sad2:

Also looking forward to seeing the Osborne Family Light Spectacular and going to Ohana for the first time. :yay:

Getting excited for our trip starting on the 19th! Quick question:

Is everyone packing bathing suits? Is there a chance for swimming? Of course, I'll check the weather forecast before we leave but I've never been to FL at this time of year!

I think you should bring the suits. There may be swimming weather. Last time we were there for Thanksgiving, the kids went swimming two afternoons. It was a little chilly for me, but they loved it. :goodvibes

It was 80 degrees today. The pools are Disney are heated!!

We stayed at Pop years ago in January. It was a particularly cold week and the kids wanted to swim. We went one evening. It was in the 30's outside, but the pool water was nearly 80 degrees and in comparison, it felt like a hot tub! Heading back to the room was fun. We were all bundled up, but where our hair stuck out a bit, it froze.

I will definately be bringing our suits in 2 weeks! If it's cold, I'll be bringing a change of clothing to change into at the pool after swimming. There are showers and changing facilities at the pools. Not going to repeat that January. We were crazy!! Chances are it's much closer to walk to the pool rest room than back to the room if it's cold!

Thanks for the info prisjoyce and lovethattink!

I think I have a rough outline of our trip put together. I'll post it soon to see what people think!
