What time do they usually have the Castle Lighting Ceremony? Our only day a MK is the night of MVMCP. I was planning on getting there for 4pm.

I dont' know from experience since we've never gone at this time of year but I have read both 6:15pm and 6:30pm so you should be fine.

Great minds think alike - our ADR at LTT is 4:10 also; with the same thought...making the Castle lighting with time to spare (hopefully!).
We have a timeshare at Orange Lake, so we are staying there. We've never stayed on Disney property - maybe someday! We love OL, but I'd like to stay on property just once!

I agree, great minds How funny is that? I think we should be okay to make the ceremony.
Thank goodness for The Disney Vacation Club or I wouldn't be staying at BLT. I am thankful to be able to stay on property.

We'll be going to MVMCP on 12/9. We've gone to MNSSHP before but never to the Christmas party. Looking forward to it!

Looks like the list is growing.... We have 3:35 reservations to Crystal palace and I am happy with that. We had great food and great service last time we were there and the characters came around 3 times during our meal so we dont want to be too rushed nor do we want to miss any MVMCP action!

Add us to the list! We're going on Nov. 11, already have tickets in hand. This will be a wonderful addition to our trip celebrating DD's third birthday earlier that week.

We've got 5:30 ressies at LTT that evening, but I actually just made a 4:25 out of concerns that the 5:30 may not give us time to make castle lighting. Any thoughts? Needless to say I'll be cancelling one of them.

Our DS will turn 9 on Dec 1st. So cool your DS will get to spend his birthday with Mickey! How will you ever top that?!?!?!?!?

I think you did the right thing. Now you wont feel stressed or rushed.

I would go with the early one. It seems like almost all of our TS dinners take at least 2 hours. I think the castle lighting is around 6:30.

You might be cutting it close. I think I'd get to Chef M's a little early and hope to get seated. Since it's a buffet, it's kind of up to you how long it takes. The only thing that might hold you up is waiting to see all the characters. The last time we were at CM's they had a really good system, and we saw them all pretty quickly.

Is the parade taping on the 5th or the 4th? I think I read that it will be on the 4th unless it rains, then they will bump it to the 5th.
