We'll be there September 21. Dressed up as the Hitchhiking Ghosts and the bride (me):thumbsup2

Does some kind DISer know why some MNSSHP dates are available for discounts with advanced purchase and others aren't? Do advanced purchase discounts affect attendance? MNSSHP falls three times during my trip, and I am trying to figure out which night to buy tickets for. The Tuesday (10/16) night we fly in is a discounted night, but I think we might be too wiped to handle it. The other options are a non-discounted Thursday (10/18), or a discounted Sunday (10/21). Any thoughts on whether a week night is better to go than a weekend night? My gut says I should go for the Thursday night, but darn I wouldn't mind the discount!

We will be going to the party on Oct 23 - dvc/ap holders discount night. Just got to love them!!!! Too bad that you can't get a discount for both...now that would be a treat!!! See you all there. Have to figure out costumes!!

I need some opinions on ADRs for out MNSSHP Sept 14. We have reservations for dinner at CP at 6:15pm. I had an ADR for earlier, but my thought was that we'll be getting to the park at 8am for Little Ones EMH, so it might be best to take 3 y.o. DD back to the resort for an afternoon break before dinner and the party. So if we take a break, say from 3:30-5:30 and then head back to MK in our costumes for dinner, maybe be done by 7:30p for the party. Any thoughts? Sound like a plan, or cutting it too close?

Hello. I have 2 questions I'm hoping any veteran MNSSHPers may be able to answer.
1. Are there characters at Ariel's dance party and if so, who?
2. Does the Liberty Belle having storytelling?
Thanks so much! We're planning on being there Sept. 14th!

Yes, you can pick them up at any guest services but you must have your AP to show them first to get the discount.

The CM allowed me to have them mailed. They were 38.XX for each adult, and I forgot how much for DD4. I'll have to check my credit card account to be sure they gave me the discount. Anybody else get tickets with the AP discount and had them mailed?

When I ordered my AP discounted ticket, the CM said it was going to be mailed to me and there was a s/h fee of $3. I asked if I could pick it up at will call when I go this month and he said no problem. I just need to bring a photo id and my confirmation number and I can pick it up.

It all depends on the CM you get, however, official policy is that AP orders must be picked up at Will Call to show the AP, to show you qualify for the discount.

Mistakes happen every single year, especially in the first few days that the tickets go on sale. Eventually, all the CMs will be on the same page.

Is there a poll going yet? Haven't seen one, just curious how many are going the same night as we are!?

My son does have a Peanut and Tree Nut Allergy and the last time we were at the Halloween Party he was 10 mos old so it didn't matter. He is now 5 yrs old. and already worried if they would have anything safe he can have. He only like Lollypops, Fish Crackers and Oreos. So I was wondering if I should take the things he usually eats and ask the Cast Member to hand it to him or to have him just do the Trick or Treating and at the end of the night have him trade his bag in for a bag with all the treats that he can eat. I 'll ask a Cast Member if they would do the switch with him so he thinks Disney thought about him.

Do you think I can get either one of these ideas to work?

I forgot, add us to Halloween Night!

My DD9 has had a peanut allergy since she was 1. We have always switched out her unsafe candy for safe candy after trick or treating. It also is a good lesson for her. I think this would work at MNSSHP, too. Good luck! My DH and I have been twice and there is unfortunately a lot of peanut items handed out. So you might want to bring a lot of safe candy! :goodvibes

I can't remember everything that they gave out last year, but I know that they did give out raisins if that helps any.

Here's a couple pics of the candy we got last year:

and if I remember from last year those eyeballs have nuts - or maybe rice but better not to chance it, right?

I am totally going to this on my birthday (the 12th). This is AWESOME!

And some of those eyeballs have peanut butter in them. They were delicious. The only place that you could get them was at the party too. For days after I looked in all of the stores for them, but to no avail.
