We've gone to MNSSHP three years now and will probably be going again in September. I hope to see some of you there!!

Actually, the perk for onsite guests is that you can call at 180 days from your check in date and then book 10 days worth of ADRs but some CMs are misinformed or just don't understand this perk and book some folks' ADRs too early. I wish they'd be consistant with this perk.

Hmmm... odd that the system lets them book it, then. The CM who booked me said the system would let her know whether I could make the ADR, and it was accepted. :confused3 I guess I'll just consider myself lucky, then! ;)

I also heard that if you already had your vacation booked that you could call the 180 days plus 10 more days for your ADR's (basically you can book your ADR's 190 days out). I told my neighbor this and she used this info and was able to book CRT more than 180 days out b/c she already had her vacation booked. Our travel agent told me that yes, Disney does do the 190 days, but that not all the reservation agents in Disney Dining will let you do it. :confused3

Oh, good! I thought that I was going crazy or just imagined it!! :rotfl:

I still can not decide on costumes. There are 3 of us and DS (2) will not wear a hat. I'm trying to think of an idea that ties together. I thought of the Rescusers Down Under. DH and I as the 2 mice and DS as the little boy. DS has white blond hair and could wear shorts, but DH doesn't think anyone would get it.

So, back to the drawing board. :sad2:

No, the dates still haven't been announced yet. :sad2:

The official dates are not out yet. The unofficial dates are however September 14, 21 28, October 1, 4, 5,9, 11, 12, 15, 16, 18, 22, 23, 25, 26, 29, 30, 31

You can book your ADR's on your 180day mark for 10 days worth of vacation! BUT - make sure you book ALL of them on that 180 day mark otherwise you wait until the 180 day mark for each day of the vacation! I didnt know that last year and I only booked some of my ADRs on that 180 day mark. I called back the next day to complete my bookings and was told the only opportunity to get the jump and book in advance was to do it on the 180 day mark otherwise I had to wait like everyone else not booked into a resort at WDW and go day by day! I also tried to book CRT that day but it was already gone even though I was doing it in advance of the general public but I called on the day that would make it 180 and ended up getting it when they opened it up for everyone. They seem to only open up so many available bookings for the advance adrs. Good luck

Just to add on the ADR bookings, Disney Dining does not release all of the available tables at the 180 + 10 booking. You can call back a week later and there will be additional availability.

Does anyone know what's up with this "other halloween party". The Studios one? I remember talk of it last year or the year before, but nothing happened. The 2007 UG is talking like it's a definite for this year. I haven't been around the DIS much lately, so if there's been a thread confirming it or including any details can someone share with me please. TIA

I believe that you are talking about HHN at Universal. Check out the Universal boards for information on this. HHN is not anything like Mnsshp. HHN is an adult party with very scary scare zones, haunted houses, alcohol and lots of adult fun. Or were you thinking about talk last year of one at MGM?

subscribing...going on Oct. 9 (if dates are correct)!

we have just found out about it and are hoping to go to the 1st one... which i thought was the 15 ooohph my bad... it will just be me(24) and DBF (25) i want to dress up:woohoo: ... think i will have to get my dbf to do it to although that will take some work:sad2: !!! does any body else dress up without kids? or will it just be me?:confused3 any good ideas for costumes?

I'm planning to go to one, but I haven't decided which yet. I do already have most of my costume, though. I'm going to be Minnie Mouse. ::MinnieMo :woohoo: I'm not sure if I'll be going with friends or alone (I do have a CM friend there.), but there's only a slim chance there will be a kid with me and I'm definitely dressing up. :cool1:

ETA: This will be my first MNSSHP.

I finally made the call today to book LTT for Sept. 14th. For a party of 3 she offered 5:05, 5:15, and 5:25 (I think) I took 5:05. I figure even if we don't do MNSSHP this year we can still enjoy the characters in costume at LTT. We were there last year on first night of MNSSHP and had ADR for 5:55. We finished up just as 7:00 rolled around and MNSSHP officially started. I figure by eating earlier this year, we'll have a little more time to relax (or ride rides) before official start.

This is the first ressie I've made for our trip, many more to follow (once we decide on exactly when we are going) I decided I better book LTT soon as once Disney announces free DDP (still crossing my fingers here) then booking any ADRs (and having first choice on times) will be more difficult.

So, if you haven't booked LTT yet, call now, times (Sept 14) are still available. :hourglass Good luck!

I think someone already posted an answer to this question, but I can't find it :confused3 so here is it again :upsidedow

Is LTT the only place where characters are dressed up for Halloween the nights of MNSSHP? TIA
