Official MNSSHP [Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party] 2007...

We are planning on going Mon 10/1 and possibly Fri 9/28 (worried about crowds on that date).

I have an ADR at Liberty Tree at 5:30pm.

1. WIll the characters be in costume at that time?

2. We don't want to spend party time in the restaurant -- will we be out before 7:00pm?

Here's our haul from last year. And yes, DD7 is making a list of all we got.



We got quite a bit of chocolate and on the way out was a Snicker's trough where you could take as much as you wanted. Hope this helps.

WOW! That looks like a great mix of candy. I have been on a sugar free diet since January to prepare for a party in a few weeks. I am so ready for some candy.

I'm not 100% sure but I think they start their dinner hours start at 3:30p.

I think they start serving dinner @ 4:00. I want to make an ADR for 5:00 on Sept. 28th and then go to the party. I don't think we would be longer than 2 hrs. for dinner. We are so excited!! We've never done LT before! I didn't think it would be too crowded on the 28th!

I noticed the SSR in your signature so I thought I'd ask if you're staying onsite on this next trip. I may have been one of the few on these boards out of the loop , but I just found out that if you already have a reservation made at a WDW resort you can book your ADR's 10 days earlier. I mention this only because I was able to book my ADR for LTT on 10/1 yesterday. Thought it may be worth mentioning in case the same would work for you, too!

We went last year to the Oct 2nd and 5th parties. We are going this year for Halloween week. We are thinking of doing two parties again this year. To those who have gone this late in the year, how crowded is this week? Also if we dont do the party on halloween night where can we take the kids trick or treating? I thought I read last year that Downtown Disney and some of the resorts offered trick or treating?

We are planning on going to our 3rd MNSSHP this year. Either the 25th or 26th. Can't wait. I'm starting to plan costumes now, but we've had 1 year where it was really hot and another where it was COLD. I don't know what to plan for this year.

Its gong to be mini Dis get together. I have ADR at 4:30 for us.

It will be a mini Dis get together! I have no idea what costumes we will be wearing. I guess I should say I have no idea what DD and I will be wearing, cuz DH won' be caught dead in a costume.

We originally had planned to go starting 10/7, but due to my sister's wedding we changed to Sept. 9th-15th. I was so disappointed because I really wanted to do MNSSHP and didn't think there would be a scheduled party that early. I was so excited to find the Sept. 14th date listed. I just love Halloween. Seeing all those pictures posted a few pages back got me really excited. I dont' know if I will make it 5 1/2 more months!

Actually, the perk for onsite guests is that you can call at 180 days from your check in date and then book 10 days worth of ADRs but some CMs are misinformed or just don't understand this perk and book some folks' ADRs too early. I wish they'd be consistant with this perk.

We had ADRs last year on 9-15 for 5:55. We had plenty of time to eat and see all the characteres at least once. I was walking out the door at 7 p.m. as they made the announcement that MNSSHP was starting. Perfect timing!
