I posted this on the other MK Fireworks Dessert Party thread, but wanted to add it here as well:

Hey - all you folks going on August 28th!!

I will be there and know several other groups from TGM that will be there that night as well. I will be bringing lime green (DIS colored) nametags for anyone to wear who would like to meet other DIS or TGM'ers! I'll be there with DS16 and we'll both be in our lime green DIS shirts with lime green name tags so come say hi and fill out a nametag for yourself!

Mine will say marciemi (and then Marcie underneath), my son's will say marciemi's DS16 (and then Stephen underneath).

I know I can come up with PHILADELPHIA EAGLES T-Shirts.

Well, I suppose we could wear our Packers' ones instead!

I figure if I have the DIS shirts on though, then people who are familiar with the DIS may actually ask me about it.

Diane - I'll be glad to make some up for you, and I'll also have a sharpie and name tags, if anyone wants anything different. This isn't going to be a sophisticated proceeding! Although I do have some leftover DIS name tags from our early 2005 trip, but just got one for me (which I could wear), and youngest DS. Not sure if my 6'2 16 year old wears that tag that people would believe he was marciemi's DS9!

Looking forward to meeting all of you there. Not sure how hungry we'll be since we'll be pretty much coming right from our dinner at 'Ohana, but hey - I have a teenaged boy with me - I'm sure he can make up for my share!

Anyone know how many spots there are per night? I had read there was 51 spots per evening and was just thinking if that was the case it looks like it's all DISer's on the 28th! I notice someone has down dates for the
29th but I thought the 28th was the last day.

On that note I do need to update my listing...We are now a total of 10...6adults, 2 teens and 2 children.

I think there has to be a lot more than 51 spots, there were 7 tables in the row where we were sitting and there were about 5 tables to the right of us (where the railing sticks out) then there were two rows of tables behind the buffet table and then 2 rows of tables aligned with main street.

Interesting. I know there are lots of table there as it's also seating for the Noodle Terrace during the day. Are you saying all those tables were full? Was there still plenty of room at the rail for watching Wishes?

Yes these were the tables that were full. It was basically everything around the railing plus two rows behind the buffet. There is plenty of room around the railing to stand.

We attended on August 10th. It was great! We had a table right up front and the desserts were yummy. We were the last ones to leave.

We will be at WDW in October.
We are doing Race for the Taste, Food & Wine Fest and using our points
at BLT it would be perfect if the Dessert Party was extended !

Does anyone know it there are any dairy free items?

I'm interested in booking if the event is extended, but if there aren't any special dairy free desserts then I won't.

I just can't eat all of those delicious looking desserts in front of my niece if she only gets fruit.

Well the Dessert Party will go on if Wishes is cancelled. Just hope the weather cooperates.
