I tried the Alamo code with Alamo insider for Presidents Week and a minivan was 450 all in--still cheaper than what I had booked. BUT a premium SUV was 151 all in with the same code! Not an SUV fan, but we'll take it! Thanks for the code!

Mini van for Oct 20 for 18 days : rate of $621 tax in from Budget using Can. Costco site. Everyone else still has sky high rates. Must be something about that date because others are getting lower rates with Alamo for dates just before and after that.

We secured a mini van via Hotwire for our end of August trip. Our 15 day rental was $495 including all taxes and fees, and we got Alamo. We booked about 10 days before we departed. Prices with the rental companies directly were around the $1000 mark....so this was a great find.

We had never rented a vehicle through Hotwire before, but we were very pleased. We were still able to use the kiosk to check-in, saving us from standing in that unbelievably long line to reach the counter.

Most of the vans on Alamo's aisle on our pick-up date were Town & Country's.

So....if you are looking for a van, keep an eye on Hotwire as your trip dates approach!

Thanks. Was able to use this code and lower my rate for 10 days in Jan-Feb from $525 to $398 for a 7 passenger van. I really want an 8 passenger van but that price is $525.

A friend told me she had to pay for her rental with her VISA using this ID. I guess she was mistaken.

If you google 7014926 Visa all of the responses say you must pay using your Visa

Just snagged a minivan from Dollar for $135 ($190.46 after taxes and fees) for 9/27 - 10/4.

Just clicked the 'check for city specials' on the rental page & it came back with a price that lowered my most recent reservation by over $90!
