"Official" MDE thread?

Hi,

We are doing a VERY last minute trip to DW next week (DH has business trip and DD has off school). We have not gone for over 2 years so we have not gone through the fun of setting up MDE. Our old accounts are active on MDE, but I have a bunch of questions, such as how many accounts should I keep (one for the whole family or one each person), how to link my non expiration tickets, adding a water park, where I can pick up bands/cards, etc.

Is there an 'official' MDE thread somewhere here? I found one for FastPass+ (which I understand better than MDE with all the related threads ), but not one for MDE.

I don't know if there is an offcial thread about this.

Everybody in your party should have a MDE account. You can manage it for your daughter.

Linking your non-expiration tickets is pretty self explanatory once you are in there.

I don't know what you mean by "adding a water park."

Your Magic Bands would normally be sent to your house 30 days in advance. Since you are travelling sooner than that, they will have them for you when you check in to your hotel. You can request a key card then if you want one.

It's easier to open one MDE account and act as the account manager. List everyone in your family in the Family and Friends area and you won't have to "invite" anyone else to join.

As soon as you link tickets to everyone in your MDE, you can book FPs for your complete group if you are within 60 days (onsite) or 30 days (offsite).
