Hey all!! Just wanted to drop in & say:
Saturday May 7th we will be doing a Dis-meet at Epcot in France, in the early/mid afternoon for anyone who's interested, there's a thread started for it as well "Early May Meet?"
ALSO, definitely finished paying off my share of the Disney trip today!!!

Totally didn't see a thread/post about it! I started a single new thread about an Early May Meet as I didn't see another one. Ha! I figure we should probably just combine them?

I want to start of by expressing how happy I am finding this forum with fellow obsessers! My DH teases me about how much time and effort I have put into planning our trip with his latest remark being, "So what brand sesame seeds are they using on the bagels?". 
I love to see how excited everyone else is as well!
We will be visiting for our first time this May and it will be my DH, 6 yr old DD, and myself. We will be at WDW for 4 days and then on the Dream for 4 days. After MUCH research and forum reading I decided to stay at the Pop! following the consensus of fellow DISers for a value resort. Also I requested a room in the 50's building for the same reason--we are looking for a more quiet area that isn't too far from the buses. I also got the DDP which I might pass on next time we visit. I reserved three different character meals which will make it worth it but I think we won't be saving that much money over all. Having a dessert included in each TR seems a waste--my daughter will only have a bite or two and we don't eat a lot of sweets. I also decided to bring an electric kettle to make coffee and oatmeal in the room and to pay the 12$s a day for a fridge. This way we can avoid the crowd for breakfast and save some money. I really don't communicate or function well before my first sip of coffee and don't want to have to walk 5 minutes to get it either! A definite down side to the value resorts but still worth it for us for the money we'll save.
We will be driving down from MD and will be staying in a hotel outside of Orlando so we can drive into the park and begin our day one early. Drop the bags of at Pop, hop on the bus and off to Animal Kingdom!! I have a list of rides and shows for each park we want to experience but I didn't want to micromanage too much.
For our afternoon, possible rest at the hotel then off to Disney Studio. We have ADR for 50's Prime Time Cafe--hope Flo makes my DD eat all of her green beans!
For our second day we'll be at MK for the rope drop and EMH--8am! We have resies for BBB in the morning as well. DD was never a big princess fan--more of a classic Disney girl (just like her mommy
) but really loves getting her hair, make-up, and nails done. I think we'll all be wonderfully surprised at the attention and magic that only Disney can offer! Back to the hotel for a nap maybe then off to Epcot for some fun and then dinner at Akershus with the Princesses. We'll finish our night off with Illuminations.
Day three and first day of June! We'll have an open morning--I'm trying to be too psycho over our schedule

Afternoon/evening back to MK with dinner resies at Crystal Palace with Pooh and the crew!! We'll stay to see MSEP and DW fireworks. I'm hoping we can get out of the park within an hour after closing.
Last day at WDW begins early--again, with breakfast at Chef Mickey's and with all of our favorite classic characters. We'll head off to MK for our final time followed by a much needed break by the pool in the afternoon--all dependent on the 6 year old of course! Our final evening will be spent in Disney Studios for some roller coaster extravaganza and finished off with Fantasmic.
Next morning we're off to the Dream with a MUCH looser itinerary!

Katt I also saw someone post about a meet on this day in Italy, but wasn't able to find it anywhere and didn't see anymore about it than the one post. So I just assumed they meant the meet we were talking about since at the time we hadn't pinpointed a place to meet yet...

The name of the thread is "Dis early May meet up" by Suellen. We were talking Italy , but France is good SLUSHIES yumm. Italy just has a such open space there, we could grab the slushies in France and make it over for Belini also. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2647433

Awesome! I'll be the one with 5 kids! Haha! We're gonna wear matching shirts a lot of the time, so we'll be pretty easy to identify!
