and I'm not sure if they have these anymore but DD got one of these at Goofy's Candy Co. our last trip...

if you want my advice - make at least ONE build your own treat. We let DD do it and DH had one taste and decided we all needed to do one another day and it became a tradition.

Whoa! What are the 2 bottom treats? They look so yummy! Are these build your treats a snack credit on the dining plan?

The first one is the create your own marshmallows and the next one is the fudge cookie (They come in vanilla, mint, and peanut butter). Yes they are a snack credit on the dining plan but they limit the amount of toppings you can put on.

They don't offer these anymore. We have the stitch one we got with our slush a few years ago.

I leave in 10 days!!!:goodvibes

I dont think we have ever stopped into Goofy's Candy Co. while we have been at DTD. I do believe we will be making a pitstop there from now on. Those snacks look delish!!!!:thumbsup2

Yes, they are amazing!!

the first one was a mickey head rice crispie treat
the second is marshmallows as previously said
the third is as previously said a cookie - kind of like a giant oreo cookie.
You get to select all the topping from like 3 different categories. You fill out a form and then wait for your name to be called.

I wonder if they have something new that is taking the place of where the giant slurpee station was.

Wakica your dd is adorable!!
My kids got Slushies of some kind when we were at Goofys Candy Co in August. Are you saying they are all gone? They will be disappointed.. they LOVED them! I wonder where else we could get them? I better do some research:)

When I wake up tomorrow we're only 8 days away!! So close!!!
I really need to pack now. This weekend there is a lot of work to do:rolleyes1

Ahhhh!! We're at one month, one week, one day!! I keep trying to start on the kids' customs and costumes, but then I'll get an order and have to put them to the side. I think I may have to go into vacation mode on Etsy so I can get this stuff DONE! The days at work are dragging (student and teachers alike are done and so ready for summer!!), but when it comes to getting stuff done for the trip, I seem to be running out of time.

The slushies are still there but the create your own cup like the Mickey one she pictured is no longer avaliable. They give you a plain cup now but they still have lots of flavors to pic from. I love the apple juice one. :thumbsup2

Question of the Day:

What are your tips for someone with no ADRs? Is there even a chance for walk ups? (Question asked by Rekins)

I LOVE the make your own pretzel rods!!!! I am excited they are a snack credit since we have the dining plan this trip! However I might try the cookie in Peanut Butter! sounds like it would be YUMMY..

Here is a little teaser pic for all of you (I took this on 4/13/12) It's the playground at the Flower & Garden festival in Epcot!

Okay, I'm just posting because I'm too excited to work :cool1: We leave two weeks from tomorrow - trying to finish up the last of our planning. I scheduled our KTTK tour yesterday, have my dining ressies in place (except for trying to switch our 9:30 Cali Grill to 8:30 - hope that works!), flights and hotel are booked of course. So, what else can I plan! I do need to make a packing list, so maybe I'll work on that today.... I promised DH this would be a more relaxing, "go with the flow" trip, but I so want to write a touring plan (I guess I could - he doesn't need to know ;))

Tips for someone with no ADRs? If it was during a free dining time, I'd say good luck! But since it's not and there are still pretty good choices for ADRs on the WDW website (at least when we are going), I'd say you might have a chance for walk ups.

Of course, your chances are slim at the really popular places like Ohana, Le Cellier, etc.

We are mega planners, so I've never gone without ADRs. We've only tried walking up once and that was for lunch at Via Napoli. We had no trouble getting a table.

I think it would be possible, but if there was a place that you really had your heart set on trying, I'd try to get an ADR before going, just to make sure. If you don't really have any strong feelings about where you eat, I'd say go for it! Especially in May.
