What are you celebrating?
Nothing officially, tho my bday is a few days after our trip. This is a surprise
Trip for the girls, and my mom/stepdad are joining us for a few days
It's his 1st visit.

Are you a pin collector? Not really, the few times
I have tried I kept losing them or their backs, etc.

What is your first full day plan?
Epcot or HS. We are staying our arrival night at Beach Club,
So that first mornin we will start at one I those while
Our luggage heads over to our home resort!

What is your favorite place in WDW to have breakfast?
We always just do granola bars, etc for brkfst!

In order, what are you favorite parks to see? (1 being your favorite, 4 being the last one you will visit)
1. MK
2. Hollywood studios
3. Animal Kingdom
4. Epcot

What is the first ride/attraction you will go to in Epcot?
Soarin' for fast passes then to Test Track if it's open!

What is you favorite viewing place for the following WDW events?:
1. Illuminations - idk?
2. Wishes -our balcony at bay lake or Top of the World lounge
3. Dream Come True Parade - ummm..

What resort did you pick and why?
I am a Disney travel agent too, bu also a DVC owner! We are doing
One night at beach club to get sOmewhat of a "beach fix" then over to Bay Lake for six nights

What is your #1 tip for first-time visitors?
Fist thing - use a Disney travel agent ---I second that!!!-- stay onsite,
Get a park hopper. Don't go at Easter!

Will you drive, fly or take the train to WDW?
Fly....the 5 hr road trip from Kansas to my hometown in Iowa is
About all my DH can stand in a car lol

So when I read the question my answer was just.... a pin. After looking at everyones answers here's my list lol
Dole Whip
Pop Corn Bucket (I buy it last thing before I leave EPCOT the last day and carry it home to my sons)
Pocky for both of my sons
Goofy's candy company rock candy for my 22 y/o son they never do grow up.
Glass of champagne from France last but certainly not least
Aultenmunster from Germany. Best beer ever!

Hi everyone! I sent a request for FB group.

My hubby and I are going 5/17-25. Staying off property this time...was gifted a week at a timeshare from a friend.

Every time I go I must get a rice krispie treat with chocolate.

Must have a dole whip float.
Must buy something in Japan.
A christmas ornament.
A pin with the year on it.
Snacks that we eat a few weeks later in rememberance of your visit.

Better late than never! Count us in for May 12-19. It will be a MUCH different trip than previous trips. DH has a conference about 1/2 hr drive from WDW. The beginning of the trip we will be at Pop 12-14 before DHs classes start. I would rather be staying at WL, but very glad to be able to be on property at least a couple days. The rest of the week, DD, DS and I will be on our own during the day and DH will join us in the evenings. We will be on a tight budget since this was a surprise, last minute trip, but I am SO excited and cant believe how soon our trip is approaching. Ive done nothing yet! This time last trip, I was half packed and had all our touring plans done!

You mean there's a land "outside" the parks? lol We haven't really done much outside the parks except had our down time. I have parasailing scheduled for this trip though so maybe that will be a new favorite (or maybe I'll hate it!)

I like to explore the resort or hang out by the pool. Downtown Disney is an option, too -- I prefer it during the day to at night.

I just like walking around Downtown Disney, window shopping. And swimming at the resort pool!

Riding the Monorail and visiting Poly, CR and GF!!!
Playing in the resort arcade

Oh gosh, I can't name just one. We like to rent the surrey bikes at the resort, go to Downtown Disney, and laze around in the hammocks while watching the Epcot fireworks.

Downtown Disney, explore the other resorts.
Visit the Disney outlet at the shopping center and go to Publix.

Our vacation is the only time I get to go to a Publix and I think it's an amazing place.

During the day I tend to hang at the pool, we're very rarely not at the parks all day. We only have 1 day scheduled to not be in the parks & that is the day we will head to the local malls.

I love spending the afternoons relaxing by the pool. A lot of times, I feel like I'm go-go-go in the parks, and it doesn't always feel like a break from work. So when I give myself a few hours to swim, read, and nap by the pool, I get some of that calm aspect of vacations back.

I love to go to the outlet mall, it is a must. Last year I think I went like 5 times in 10 days. I would road drop at the parks and during the heat of the day go to the outlet and finish the night at the parks. Shopping is a part of all of my vacations.
