Only 5 days and I've been counting down for 6 months!

Sadly we may have to cancel now because of my grandma's health. She's been in the hospital for two weeks, and we won't know if we can go until the day before pretty much.

Please send pixie dust, prayers, and happy thoughts or whatever else our way!!

6 days and they are STILL showing rain for every single day we'll be there. PLEASE let that change I'm super upset about the first full day at MK though... 65% chance of thunderstorms

Don't sweat it. They are never right. Last September it was supposed to thunderstorm for three of our days there, and the only real heavy rain and thunder we encountered was on afternoon in the MK for a couple of hours. Just throw on ponchos and go. The park completely cleared out, we rode everything that was still operating with no wait at all.

I'm from Seattle. It takes more than a little rain to depress me, LOL.

The only real advantage is that you stand in a much shorter line at check in. If you are staying at some place that is massively huge, like the All Stars or CBR, online check in works greatly to your time advantage.

Less than 2 days until we are on the plane!!
Today I'm finishing up my homework for the online class I'm taking. Have to write a paper and take an exam. I am also doing laundry. Need to charge electronics we are bringing, too. DH is currently at the store getting a few more T-shirts for himself. Then he's going to get a haircut. Tonight I am painting DD's fingers and toes. Tomorrow we will pack! Our flight leaves at 6:40 am Monday morning so we'll be up around 4. I don't want to rush that morning, I want to start the trip out semi-relaxed. LOL We are planning on putting DD (age 3.5) to bed in the clothes she will wear on Monday so we won't have to change her, just put her in the car.

Weather is looking good for us!
Monday: sunny, high 94, 0% chance rain. DHS day after arrival.
Tuesday: partly cloudy, high 92, 10% chance rain. Pool in AM, Epcot after WS opens.
Wednesday: partly cloudy, high 94, 10% chance rain. AK day, DTD that night.
Thursday: isolated thunderstorms, high 92, 30% chance rain (please no rain!). MK day.
Friday: partly cloudy, high 92, 20% chance rain. Probably pool, then fly home at 3:45 pm.

This time, next week, I should be on the DME Bus to AKL for 9 days!!! WOOOOT!

Well, not on the bus for 9 days... that wouldn't be much of a trip.

Hi Sheila. Just thinking how far are u from the airport? If flight leaves at 6:40 won't u be late if u get up at 4?

We are only about 25 minutes away from the airport. We are planning on leaving around 4:30 (just getting up and getting dressed before we leave), get to the airport, park, take a shuttle to the airport, and drop off our luggage by 5:30. Get through security, get something to eat, and wait for the flight. I will do the online check-in and pay for the luggage tomorrow so we won't have to mess with that when we get there. We're planning on having the car packed tomorrow so we won't have to deal with that Monday morning either.

One week from today, and we will be checking into Pop and heading to Epcot!!!!


Now, I'm just hoping that dang extended weather forecast is WRONG, WRONG, WRONG. Here in Wisconsin it has rained almost every day for TWO MONTHS straight. If I bring the rain with me to Florida I will just CRY!

Stupid Acuweather and their (lots of times wrong) extended forecast. I curse thee!!!!

We are in Wisconsin too and will be at Pop as of WEDNESDAY! So excited (except for the forecasted rain-Boo!). Praying Accuweather is less than "Accu"rate. as we too have gotten rain daily for what seems like forever.

Oooh! I'm loving all the Wisconsinites on here! We should've carpooled... lol... yeah the forecast is bumming me right out but I'm sure it'll change. It just has to. Right? lol... I can't have my first vacation full of rain at Disney World!!! Argh!

4 more sleeps until our first ever family vacation to WDW!!! Starting to pack and still keeping it a secret from the kiddos.... my son thinks I'm hoarding snacks in luggage...

AMEN to all of the above.....we leave for our surprise trip in 4 more sleeps and really hope the weather is good. Last time in May (2 yrs ago) rained the entire 5 days.....I don't think I can do that again.

That rain forecast is gonna drive me crazy.

We arrive in a chance of rain and for the next 6 days it's RAIN. Then on the day we leave -- Sat 21st, it's sunny!

Either way, I'll have fun, but I'm really dreading the constant rain...
