Official May 2011 thread!

I am getting excited as there are 6 of us: my 2 neices, my friends, her daughter and her mother and me. We leave next Saturday to be there from May 15-20. I am worried about the weather as I looked today and it showed rain for every day we are there. I am stiil up in the air for the dining plan. My friend never gets it but I haven't been there since 1995 and I know things can be expensive. What are people's thoughts on the casual dining plan? I am also wondering if I should order the autograph books online or just wait and get them at the store there.

RAIN is actually good in Disney...it slows everything down for a bit and the parks are perfect!!!!! We love LOVE just dining at the resorts ...getting food and sitting by the pool is amazing too!!!! ENJOY and welcome to DIS!!!!!!!!!!!

Classes are DONE! Aced my last test, found out I was nominated for outstanding officer (at school, its a very big deal) award AND won it today (I was going to see a friend win her award)!!! AND...look at my ticker! TOMORROW!!!!

Finished my last cleaning of the house today and packed everything but a few things that have to wait to last minute. So here is to starting to relax and breath finally.

1 day left and I'm done with EVERYTHING! I'm packed and the house is clean and we're ready to go. Now what on earth am I going to do with myself tomorrow?! I guess I could make the kids do school, even though we haven't done it all week - I'm sure they'd be just thrilled!

One week from right now we will be on our way! DH was caught eating snacks from our vacation tote last night. Ugh... he just doesn't get it. Maybe I should leave DH home... I think I might have a better time. lol

Finishing packing the carryons today, then loading the van as soon as it is ready for the drive to the airport. DH's graduation tonight, then we leave for the airport at 8:30am!!!!!!!

One week to go!!

Tonight is our last Disney Dinner to celebrate our up coming trip. We are doing a Jake and the Neverland Pirates theme.

Already have the plank set up to enter our house, a bunch of crafts to do and the Pirate food.

Accuweather shows the forecast a little better for our days...instead of rain every day, it's only most of the week.

oh, well, with crocs and ponchos we'll be set!

8 DAYS!!!!

Last night I did my early check in! How cool! And then I started looking over my adr's and decided to re-arrange them... my planner is going to love me...

Does anyone else second guess their daily plans the closer they get to the date?

1 more sleep!!! Our flight leaves tomorrow morning at 7!!!!!!!! Took today off to finish all the little stuff. Just threw in the last load of laundry and after it's folded I will pack it up and be done w/ that!!! Gotta run a few errands tonight and try and sleep eventually lol At this time tomorrow I will be making my way to ME and heading to CSR. Forecast for tomorrow in sunny Florida is "Mainly sunny, high of 89"!!!
