Official May 2011 thread!

This thread seems to move sooo slow compared to the Feb one !!

If anyone is interested I made a Facebook group for those of us traveling May 2011!

Sometimes its easier for me to keep in touch via FB, though I the disboards too! Just send a request if you'd like to join, I figure we could share info, plans, etc...maybe make a master list of who's going when and such !!! Which reminds me, I need to get a new ticker

Just sent my request. I'm really bad about checking Facebook but joining would make me do it more often.

Yes we are going May 29-June 4th We are young grandparents taking our 11 & 14 year old grandkids. I am so excited, we have never been there before.
We have the free dining plan as well. I am getting overwhelmed with how to plan reservations for dinner, how to figure out where we will be??? Or just plan based on where we will be eating? If any one can help me out with this, I would greatly appreciate it. Maybe if any of you can give me a basic itineray so I can have an idea of a typical day??
I will be joining the facebook page as well, but not until after christmas, because this is the kids chritmas present from us, and the 14 year old have facebook!!

At the moment I'm waffling back and forth about resorts. I have the BC booked for the 15th-20th, but if I switch to a moderate we can stay one more night. Hmmm....decisions, decisions. These are the things that keep me awake at night people! LOL

So excited! We were staying at ASMo May 7-16, but we just switched to BLT!!! I have been dreaming about staying there and got the go ahead from the hubby! Can't wait!! I also requested to join the facebook group! Meet some of you all there!

I would stay one more night seriously!! Another night of vacationing and relaxing or having fun is great!! Also youre still getting amenities in a mod so its still ok

Just booked our trip from May 29th to June 4th at CBR! Can't wait to go! I know I'll be driving my family crazy talking about where to eat (have free dining)and what to ride and about everything Disney! Will be celebrating DS 10th B day on June 2nd. He 's so excited!

Have you been to CBR before? I keep hearing reviews about how large this resort is and so I'm afraid to try it out...I know that we are going to be staying at AKL for our first two nights (non park days) but not sure where to stay for the remainder of our trip (6 nights/7 days) !!

I drive my own self nuts with all of my obsessive planning lol..

Can't help ya out with decision making on that one...personally I'd do another night at a Mod though

I wake up randomly throughout the night with Disney thoughts as well, you aren't alone ! LOL

I think it will next month when we can make ADR's and time gets closer. I love Disboards and FB. I stalk both

On that note, quick question. We are leaving on May 7. Does that mean we can make ADR's for our whole trip starting 180 days from May 7 or do we have to wait 180 days from each day that we want to make ADRs? I hope that question make sense...watching Phineas and Ferb with the kiddos and am a little distracted!

From what I understand you can make them at 180 from your first day there. Then for up to 10 days of your trip. You have to have your conf # to make them for the extra 10 days. I love Phineas and Ferb!!
