I was just on the phone with my brother when...my Mickey Mail arrived!

O.k. let me just say that I am REALLY looking forward to our trip in a couple of weeks (15 days to be exact ) because as I was taking my kids to the bus stop, it was down right freezing! My car read 34 degrees:...my kids were dressed as if it was in the middle of winter...and it is April (not taking any chances of them getting sick with 2 weeks left). Both the girls and I said that the one thing we are really looking forward to when we go is stepping off the plane for the first time and getting a whiff of that warm Florida air (you know the part right between the plane and that tunnel thing that I always seem to forget the name of). Don't get me wrong, we are all super excited about going anyways, however once I saw/felt how cold it was this morning, that made me want to be there that much more. I am so sick of this cold weather, we need some warm Florida sun...and soon!

It's chilly and icky rainy here. 44 degrees right now. I did hear FLA is HOT there (I heard 85 but you know the humidity is bad too).

23 Days! I couldn't help myself anymore and packed the kids' clothes last night. DH thought I was nuts. That's okay. We also finished up DD's bows. The time seems to be going by "okay"... I wish it would speed up but then again, I hate to wish the vacation over already

That is why I am not trying to rush my time until the trip because I do not want the actual trip to speed by. That is why I say April needs to hurry up but May can go slow.

16 Days! Wait.......6 until ONLINE CHECK IN!! Woo! I am definitely excited. Sad to think that in a few weeks I will be back and the excitement will be over.

Bought the last of the "stuff" we need last night (not including clothes I need, that's tomorrow night).

Tell me about online check in. We've never done it before. What are the advantages?

I'm at 25 days out and packed 2 nights ago - everything - everyone thinks I'm crazy

I've also been busy making bows for my DD and my nieces.

I am so glad we are all in the same boat! I have the suitcases out and I have started throwing a few things in, but if I put them all in, then the kids will notice as they won't have shorts/tees for school if it ever warms up. It hasn't been an issue thus far, since its been so stupid cold.

THIS is exactly why we are going to go mid-week to HS! I'm a big Star Wars fan, but can't do this with the kids and a DH who is NOT a fan We'll be going on a weekday instead so we have a better chance of getting my son in the Jedi Training Academy (we've tried for years to no avail so here's to hoping it happens this year!)

We love SWW overall!!!!! That first mad dash is crazy though and I was so glad I didn't have to stand in that line for Jedi Training last year. This year I won't have to stand in either of them as DS is 13 and to old to participate in either and DD has no interest.

Has anyone else gotten the different Mickey Mail? It was basically a little booklet about our resort, DDP and different rides my girls would enjoy. It was very personalized!!

Received mine about a week ago. It's definitely personalized to our family. LOVE IT!!

Yes there is trip I booked not via a TA that I got one of these neat little booklets that you are talking about. Very awesome. My Mickeymail came last Wednesday.

I am a teacher too..but my last day of work isn't until June 13th (thanks to Snow Days). We are using Personal Days for our trip. check in to All Star Movies on 5/27 and check out on 6/3.

I'm taking personal days for my vacation--glad to hear there are other teachers out there who do that. A lot of my co-workers think I'm crazy to not wait til summer. But I'd rather have lower crowds and better deals

Tell me about online check in. We've never done it before. What are the advantages?

Basically they have your welcome info and KTTW cards are printed and ready in an folder for you so you don't have to wait for them to do all that. All they need to do is add your credit card to your room. We've used it the past 2 years and it's saved us time. Not to mention, there was no one in the online check-in line both times, nor did it ever seem to be busy when we walked by it throughout our stay. 2 more days til I can check-in for our upcoming trip!

I've been so.worried. about not getting any Mickey Mail since we're 17 days out, then my mom called our travel agent the other day (she's a good friend who we chose to book our trip through) to ask her about a different trip and she said "Oh, by the way, your Disney packet is here, you can come by the office and pick it up whenever." Way to give me a heart attack!

Sorry if this sounds crazy, but it's our first trip. When you say you got Mickey mail, what exactly did you get?

If you booked a package (hotel + tickets) you should be getting 2 mails.
1 Magical Express mail with your Magical Express Bus confirmation
and 1 package with all your hotel information and vouchers/coupons
