I've been so.worried. about not getting any Mickey Mail since we're 17 days out, then my mom called our travel agent the other day (she's a good friend who we chose to book our trip through) to ask her about a different trip and she said "Oh, by the way, your Disney packet is here, you can come by the office and pick it up whenever." Way to give me a heart attack!

We booked through a TA that's based pretty far away -- too far to drop by their offices to pick up the Mickey mail. They promised to forward it on to us as soon as they got it. So if anyone is in a similar boat, don't worry if your Mickey mail is a little later in arriving than what you might read here. It might have had to make a pretty circuitous trip!

For those going the first week of May with us... Did you see the other thread about the weather forecast???? Now I know it's silly to believe 12 days out, but accuweather has it being a low of 56 and rain on the 2nd. Am I really bring a sweatshirt????? I'm thinking the forecast is bogus. What has been people's experience with accuweather?

I live in Daytona- 1 hour away- I can tell you the weather can be 90 one day and 55 the next.

I can also tell you it has been HOT the last two days and very beautiful!

no no no! don't do that now. You're staying the 1st through 8th, right? I'll be there the 6th through 8th. The weather will be gorgoues... it has to be... I rented a cabana. No, seriously. May weather is wonderful here. No worries- if the unthinkable happens, it happens, then leaves. (unless it's September... which it won't be)

My DH graduates from college the night before we leave. Just found out that the graduation is 3 hours long!!! We won't be home until VERY late, and then we have to get up early to get to the airport 2 1/2 hours away!! We'll be running on Disney energy by that time, I'm sure! We are going to try to be packed before we leave for the graduation. Someone will be watching both DS's for us, so at least they will get to bed at a decent time!
