Thanks for replying. So, you think that's it even though it says, "Downtown Vancouver West area hotel," not simply "Vancouver West" right?

That difference has me hesitating.

- Dreams

Yes as long as west is in there and it has a 90% review rate - its the PP!
If it is 80% review rate, its the sutton place!

Okay. There is no 80%. I'm getting:
- 5* 90% $124/night and
- 4* 90% $128/night (no pool or spa listed)

Dreams,

I need your names and email for the mickey heads... also were you wanting shirts or are you making magnets?? We are looking forward to the Palos brunch. As for the Pan Pacific group. Does anyway want to have a group dinner somewhere Monday night... anyone else can also join. Liz since your the Canada local then maybe your could be in charge of that if anyone wants to.

Let's at it by ear a bit closer to for me. My best friend might be meeting us that night. I could always bring her along though
The restaurants in that hotel are $$$$$$! Let me think about what is nearby!

FYI

I just checked and the Pan Pacific is still listed on hotwire as the 5-star... remember the you want the Downtown Vancouver West 5-star for $123ish with a 90% review rate. If it says 80% then it has changed to the Sutton. Good Luck and I'm glad that everyone has been able to save some money on their room.

We don't arrive until 11pm and probably won't get to hotel until midnight. Dinner is out for us.

THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!!

We just booked the Pan Pacific as well:yay: We were at the Century Plaza for 150 a night...so you saved us some money and we'll have less to worry about in the morning : )

To get our bags to disney, do we have to arrange that with Disney beforehand? Or the hotel when we get there? I figure I would ask you before I bug my travel agent...

We arrive early afternoon...from Los Angeles.

My youngest daughter and I went to Disneyland today...picking up some of our goodies for our trip and some stuff for the FE...Our gifts are almost done, I can't wait to share : )

Lollipop - did you say you're going to Disneyworld this weekend??? We're going to Disneyland again on Tuesday to celebrate Mother's Day...I can't wait...:dance3:

I am on the August 30th cruise and wanted to say thanks for the info on the Pan Pacific. I booked it tonight for 134 for our dates and saved quite a bit.:cool1: Can't wait to read your trip reports:goodvibes

MontanaDJ-

We will be at Disney World this weekend. Going to babysit for the 5K race and then celebrate Mother's Day. Then it will be just a week away till we leave for the cruise.

Am going to tell my husband about the Pan Pacific hotel on Hotwire when I get home from work in AM. Hope we might be able to still get in on that great rate. We also might like to join everyone for dinner. Sounds like fun.

Montana: check at hotel checkin, but dcl should have a desk in the lobby. I heard they will arrange for your lugge up the ship. If they don't, I know we can call the valet and they take your luggage to the ship for you. Have some cash ready for a tip! Then there is an elevator you can take down directly to the terminal. Checkout is not until noon, so we might go check in for the cruise really early, then go back to our room until 11!

Just booked Pan Pacific through Hotwire at that great price. Thanks Lollipop's Mom for giving us the info. We are interested in meeting for dinner on Monday if you get a group together. Keep us informed.

I used Hotwire for the first time about a month ago. I was able to get a nice hotel for a good rate but not that convenient to the port. My understanding is there is no changing or canceling. Does anyone know if there is a way to cancel on hotwire without forfeiting your money.:confused3

I don't think hotwire fares are usually refundable
