***Official March 2021 Thread***

Darn it... I’m there that day...

i feel ya. we're there on the 16th. it's actually our 2nd HS day during our trip & I booked it just in case we couldn't get into RotR on our first HS day. We might actually change park pass reservations if we can to avoid the craziness. Maybe a lot of people are booking HS with hopes of getting into the virtual queue. it's definitely my favorite ride in WDW.

Absolutely. I have 3 DHS park reservations for my late March trip, to better my chances of getting a BG. It's possible we'll go to DHS all 3 mornings, but if we get a BG on the first or second day we may change the other day(s) to another park. My thinking was that it will be easier to change from DHS to another park than the other way around. I'm sure lots of people are having the same thought.

Side note, I'm a bit surprised the mid-March days were the first to fill. I would have thought the weeks around Easter (my dates) would fill first.

Ugh, I’m worried about BGs with HS hitting capacity while we are there. We only have one day booked there (3/14) so only two chances for BGs. My daughter wants to go on Rise so badly. I practiced this morning for the first time and didn’t get them, and that’s on a seemingly much slower/low capacity day.

Yeah we have two HS days just in case we can't get a borading group on the first day. We also figured if we got a BG on the first HS day we could always switch up our park reservation if we wanted to on our second HS day. We do have hoppers and figured we would hop to Epcot a couple of evenings as long as it doesn't reach capacity (which I doubt it will, but who knows what will happen the week we are there).

I’m just fully expecting that week to be busy. So I’m going to keep the plans the same and just hope the beautiful weather makes up for it.

Just found this thread. Super excited. Our first visit to WDW coming up from March 10-17th, staying at BCV. I feel so lucky to have gotten reservations to everything we wanted. Traveling with my husband and daughters - 9 and 5 years old. Count down is officially on!!

Got you added to the list.

Just found this page! Thank you! We have a one day park ticket currently on March 30th but could adjust to the 29th or 31st :)

We'll be there the week after you with our girls 8 & 5. We love the Beach Club and are really looking forward to Stormalong Bay!

Here's our itinerary:
10th-arrival day - no park- eating an early dinner at Homecoming
11th- MK
12th- AK
13th- Epcot
14th- HS (making sabers and droids. Have a reservation for Oga's)
15th- MK (my Birthday...so we are doing BOG dinner b/c B&B is my all time favorite!)
16th- HS (sci fi for dinner)
17th- Departure day...6pm flight. As of now, we reserved HS because we are BIG Star Wars fans and can always change but REALLY want ROTR.

Things I accomplished today,
Time off approved
Merged my 3 DVC reservations
Purchased $$$ gift cards for my kidlets tickets. I will spend the morning consolidating them on the new website. Did you know Target has a $1k daily limit on gift cards? I didn't.

It's happening and they have NO idea. Now to think of a creative way to tell them. Part of me wants to involve them in the planning and the other part wants to put them in the car and ask "what do you want to do today?" And then drive to the airport.

We just planned a last minute Disney Vacation, Im so excited to go back. We are stayng at BCV for the first time March 12-16. 2 Adults 3 Kids 10,12,17

3/16 - Would love Breakfast somewhere before departing

The Beach Club Marketplace has some good breakfast entrees. But if you would like a sit down restaurant for breakfast on 3/16 then I would try Ale & Compass at the Yacht Club or Trattoria at the Boardwalk. We had a very good breakfast at Ale & Compass a few weeks ago. And I have heard lots of good things about the breakfast at Trattoria. Both of them are walking distance to the BCV's and easy to get to. :)

That's funny because we were actually going to start off at MK, but since we're arriving to Orlando at 11:17p on Sunday, we decided to start at Epcot since it opens the latest:

Sun - Arriving at 11:17p, staying at POP
Mon - Epcot
Tue - DHS (Sci Fi for lunch)
Wed - MK
Thu - AK (Maybe get a hopper this day to go back to Epcot to check out the F&G festival)
Fri - MK half day before flying out at 5p

Are we able to upgrade 1 of our 1 day tickets to a hopper?

You can add the park hopper option to the ticket on the day that you decide to hop to a second park. You would go to the ticket window at park entrance to do that. :)

WOOHOO! I know you're happy you can move on to other planning now that your time off has been approved.
I have actually read about the daily limit on gift cards at Target but I had forgotten about that. I do need to buy some for my trip still. I meant to when I was there Monday and completely forgot.

I’ve always wanted to surprise my kids but never been able to pull it off! I say go for it if you can, it’s something they’ll always remember.
