I almost don't even want to go anymore.
As luck would have it, I am sitting in the ER at Lebonheur Childrens Hospital with my son. While playing on the playground at school and climbing the twisty tower thing with holes, his shoes got caught and when he "jumped" his foot didn't let go. He flew face first into the ground only stopping himself with his forearms. Broken the bones (both radius and ulna) in his left arm near the wrist. Because of how bad the break is, he requires sedation to set it and then we will have to wait for him to wake up. Waiting till 11pm to roll around so we can get the sleeping stuff going.... I just don't know what else is going to happen or if we will even make it to Florida at all.
I'd post the arm picture but don't want y'all to
Everyone who is there or going soon, PLEASE ENJOY IT EXTRA WELL for me and my family.
Oh man! I'm so sorry
As terrible as this week has been for you, it's good to get all the bad juju out before you head down there! I've been alternating with anxiety over the trip being perfect and comforting myself about the fact that we'll go again...and even if it's super crowded and the weather isn't perfect...it's still making family memories.

. It didn't rain once during any of our park days and the weather was in the mid 70's-low 80's during our trip, and the evenings were pleasantly cool. The Flower and Garden festival at Epcot is really nice and it definitely had the World Showcase hopping last Friday night! This was our first time going to Disney during a seasonal event. The gardens and topiaries are so beautiful. Butterflies on the Go was my kids' favorite garden area as well as the playground area next to the Lightning Mcqueen topiary down from Test Track. My favorite outdoor kitchen foods were the sugar cane shrimp skewer at La Isla Fresca and the pineapple dole whip with rum at Pineapple Promenade
. Rivers of Light was very nice but our favorite night show was Fantasmic at DHS. It was our first time seeing Fantasmic and it was definitely worth getting the dining package for the preferred seating. So happy we got to see Wishes one last time too. I wrote a little summary of our stay at Pop Century over on that thread on the Disney resorts forum. We enjoyed that resort and were able to get two connecting rooms in 50's building 3 on the third floor and had a lake view and could see the Star Wars fireworks from our location. We had an awesome trip and we can't wait to go back. I hope everyone that is there now or is going soon has a magical trip. I enjoyed sharing plans and anticipation with everyone on this thread
We at off to DHS tomorrow & the SW dessert party that night. Maybe we'll see you there. Have fun!!
