Official March 2013 thread

OK, fellow Marchers! Since we're on the downhill slide, what are you most looking forward to for your upcoming trip to the World? Whether this is your first time or not, what are you most anticipating?

For me:

1) walk down an (hopefully) empty Main Street for our early CP breakfast;
2) getting to run the Boardwalk area early one morning (I have taken up running since my last visit five years ago, and since I can't afford to make the trip just for one of the marathons, I plan on at least taking an early morning run!!)(That Princess half medal will be mine someday!!:cloud9:)
3) hopefully being told "Welcome Home" when we stay again at the YC!
4) bonding with my little family unit at the Happiest Place on Earth!

I am most looking forward to my kids' faces when they find out where we are going. We are not telling them. We are picking them up from school & going.

Oh, how fun! We've done that once, and it was such a thrill to experience his excitement that way!:thumbsup2

I am most looking forward to having my first legal drink in Disney! I told my grandparents a reason I wanted to turn 21 in Disney was because alcohol prices are so high I wont be drinking as much as if I stayed home! :thumbsup2

46 days until I get there and 48 days until my birthday!

First stay on site!

I've pretty much planned the perfect vacation, I just hope everything goes according to plan! (Perfect resort, all the ADRs I want, and the fact that its my birthday and I'll be in Disney makes it magically perfect!) :cool1:

I have booked Friday, March 1 breakfast for the Ohana breakfast and we rented the EPCOT Illuminations cruise pontoon for Friday March 1st @ 8PM , it seats 10, there are only three of us on this private cruise.

I am also looking to forward to taking a run on the Boardwalk with my DS :thumbsup2. I just ordered myself a runDisney shirt from the website. I'm going with some girlfriends in 2014 to run the Disney Princess Half.

I'm looking forward to having some warm weather (high of 5 today and low tonight of -17  not my kind of weather) , swimming at SAB, having the Kitchen Sink with the kids and possibly stopping over at Wide World of Sports because I heard our high school girl's softball team will be playing that week.

We are in full swing of our Disney theme nights every other Saturday and getting the spring cleaning done so we don't have to worry about it when we come home. Oh and I can't wait for our traditional Fish n Chips at Yorkshire County Fish Shop :woohoo: Yum Yum!!

Technically we arrive Feb 28 (my 40th birthday ) but we don't hit the parks until Mar 1st! We are staying at POFQ 2/28-3/4 and this is our first time on property! It is also the first time my husband and I have ever been away from our 4 DS. I am stressing about that, but I am so excited to be going back to WDW!

Oh and the kids are fine with us going to WDW without them - we were just there as a family in Aug 2012!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! My 2 friends (whom have never been to Disney) and I are spending my 27th birthday (March 1st) at the parks!

We just rented out EPCOT's Illumination pontoon for Friday, March 1, 2013 at 8PM. We are only a group of 3 and our boat holds 10. If you are interested in possibly coming out with us for fireworks us birthday girls could experience something most people don't get to! You may also preorder cake or wine to be delivered to the pontoon.

I made a thread to find some "mateys" for the voyage...

We are also going to a character breakfast with Stitch at the Polynesian! So much fun to be had!

We are going mid-march (just need to lock in the airfare) and I can't wait! More than likely 12-18 or 18-24. Can't wait :D Disneyland is awesome, but I miss WDW!

So excited for this trip in March. This def. will not be our first trip to WDW, but looking forward to many things that will be firsts for us:
1) We are staying one night at a Universal Studios Resort and spending two of our days there.
2) Looking forward to going to eat at Sci Fi again (one of my favorites and must do's each trip)
3) I will be pretty much on my own as my son is bringing a friend (both 18)! (YIPEE)
Just taking time to see some the the off the beaten track things that I haven't taken the time to do, such as Tiki Room have not been there since I was a little girl and THAT WAS A LONG time ago! :-)

Your number one is the same as mine! (March 4, 8:10am)
I'm excited about everything but mostly the fact that we will be taking my 3 year old granddaughter, Princess Bossypants, for her first ever visit to the World her Jammy loves so much! We started our countdown chain today--39 days left:dance3::dance3:

Oh, I'm so loving reading everyone's lists!! Especially those who are taking grandkids or kids for the first time and the anticipation they have for seeing their faces at the sight of it all...I remember that feeling! I'm happy to say that I still get that feeling, and my son's not little any more! I experienced for the first time with my son and my parents together, and I remember crying while watching Wishes knowing that I was so blessed to be sharing this moment in "generations!"

Keep 'em coming, guys! (Helps the time pass by, don't you think?)
