Woke up early, EARLY on Saturday morning, got online and booked all of our ADR's!! DH had the laptop in the bedroom with my notes right on my nightstand, and we both got up at 10 min to 5:00. I had heard how quickly some of the ADR's went. This is the first time I have to do this, so I was surprised at how easy I got everything we wanted!! There were even several times to choose from and several days to choose from for Le Cellier (and that's for the lunch time with 1 TS credit)?

Anyway, now all I have to do is sit back and wait for our trip to get here.

Still hoping that a room only discount will be released, as that would be better for us than the dining plan.

I made a few ADRs today. I gave AKL IPO a list and I can not remember what the heck was on it so I will wait to get the e-mail confirmation from them to see what else I need to book.

I just have no clue where I want to eat. We are doing so many ADRs for our Dec trip and its all new restaurants so now I am stumped for March.

Since its just DH and I we may just try and wing it. Make a few must do's and then try for walk ups. We were able to do it last March as long as we went early or late in the seating.

This is the worst part of the trip.

I'll be there March 5th-9th!

We're some of the many (or that's how it seems) who have moved our vacation from the 5th to the 3rd, and we'll be there until the 8th... we'll be missing class, but really, I'm not too worried. Due to a few problems we still haven't officially booked but we're hoping to do so in the next week.

I have most of my ADR's made. I have one day with nothing planned, and we may leave it that way as a day of rest!

I'm a little worried about airfare now though. The only airline with a direct flight has no cheap seats left (already?!) It is going to cost us nearly $3000 to fly and rent a car. We can drive for about $300, but it we'd have to do it over 2 days. I really wanted to fly this time to avoid 13 hours in the car, but I am not sure about spending that much on airfare... .

I'm so excited to make some ADR's tomorrow! I'm hoping to get reservations for the Fantasmic Dinner Package, Spirit of Aloha, Chef Mickey's and two of our all-time favorites - 1900 Park Fare and Akershus. Woohoo!

We have a party of nine for each meal - I hope it's not too difficult to get reservations! Wish me luck!

Made my ADR's at the crack of dawn this morning ! Here is what I have so far:
Mar 13 DD 12 bday: Chef Mickey bfast
Mar 15: Fantasmic Pkg Mama Melrose: 3:30 ( this was the only one available)
Mar 17: Liberty Tree Tavern lunch
Mar 18: DH B-day: Chefs (France) lunch

I am not on any dining plan so that will be all of my sit down meals...at least for now

Productive weekend for trip planning. Made all our ADR's last week/weekend too, (Chef Mickey's, Akershus, Sci-Fi Dine-In and T-Rex at DS's request) So exciting! got our airfare yesterday too - AirTran finally had a fairly decent price so we decided to jump on it instead of waiting and ending up paying tons more. Still holding out for a room discount, so we haven't made that reservation yet, but if nothing comes out this month, I think we'll just go ahead and book the room and ammend it if necessary. It's starting to feel more real!!

Was just checking our checking account online and I have a $1 charge from "CRO Admin Orlando". The only thing I can think of is that Saturday (the day of the charge) I made our Akershus princess breakfast reservation and had to guarentee it with a card and I used the debit card associated with the account in question. Anyone know if that's what it could be from?? I don't remember from last time and I just can't think of anything else it could be.

Looking at availability (restaurants) for the week of March 13th....there is lots....I went ahead and added a Le Cellier lunch. Hopefuly the budget allows it but figured what the heck while I could pretty much get whatever ressie I wanted.

That's what I'm thinking - that it was to verify the account. I wasn't sure it would let me use the debit to guarentee it, but it went through and I have a confirmation number. I'll have to keep an eye on it.

5 days until I can make my ADRs and I have worked and reworked my dining schedules so many times it's sick. I wonder if after I book I'll be able to relax a little. Probably not.. I'll be making dining changes for months to come, I'm sure!

I'm sooooo Excited that I got reservations at all the places I wanted!

Just in case anyone is curious or uses a debit card to guarentee a reservation - the $1 charge must have been what I was thinking, to verify my account because it's dropped off my list of account charges now. Problem solved.

No dining plan so trying to do more lunches....I was originally only doing the Fantasmic pkg and Chef Mickey.....but wanted to try all these places out so hopefully I can save some more dough between now and then! Looks like dining is still wide open for the week of the 12th.
