*OFFICIAL MARCH 2010 THREAD* - Lets countdown together!

Do you know my wife? :) She's a gardener and has talked about going for the flower and garden show since the first time we went to Disney.

LOL she will LOVE it.. Ohhhhh.. what if you worked the pics from the FG show into your surprise?! That would confuse her no doubt!! :thumbsup2 But, she will be thrilled!!
I just wish i could get my DH into this - i mean he enjoys going.. but not nearly as much as me and my dd, we have gone 4x this year.. DH hasn't come with us on any of our 4x trips this year..

We are staying at CBR in a couple weeks when we go for TG.

4? In a year? Wow. We went in 2004, 2006, and now 2010. The '06 trip was out of necessity due to the stresses of that little weather event we had here in 2005 and some family tragedy early in the year. This trip will be all about the baby.

I'd go every year if my wife didn't dread flying as much as she does and if she wasn't so high maintenance. If she doesn't call and upgrade to one of the Deluxe resorts I'll be surprised. ;)

:lmao::lmao: This is actually our first trip staying MOD, we usally stay deluxe.. mabye i do know your wife! :rotfl2: But, i am completely not high maintenance.. LOL And, now that you have a baby, they (the trips) will ALL always be about the baby! :lovestruc

Works for me, so long as I get one afternoon to drink my way around the world in Epcot and she doesn't mind me going to ride RnRC and ToT. She hates big rides and roller coasters and I love them.

Count us in! We are going March 6-13. We are so excited! We had to postpone our Christmas trip, and decided on March. My DD18 is on spring break that week from college. We are hoping its not too busy! We are also traveling with DH, DD16 and DD8. We are staying at the Grand Floridian- Sugar Loaf Club Level!

Ok, I am attempting to plan which parks, which days based on crowd calendar, avoiding EMH's and other information I have found on the Disboards.

I have read conflicting information on MK on Mondays, but I think I will go for it anyway since I have 3 days planned for it.

Sunday March 7- Arrive airport at 11:30-, check in and possibly swim then go to DHS for the evening to catch F!

Monday March 8- MK

Tuesday March 9- AK

Wednesday March 10- MK- ROPE Drop

Thursday March 11- EP (Breakfast ADR)

Friday March 12th DHS- Rope drop- TSM a must (no F! or EMH so far that day)-

Saturday March 13th- EP or MK- decide then

Sunday March 14th- EP or MK- decide then- Are flight leaves at 8:30 pm, so have until about 3 pm to spend on whatever we decide to do.

I am just trying to get a very basic itinerary, all is subject to change, except my ADR for Epcot Norway- askerhaus (I still need to do that...). I know when the parades are, it all depends on how we feel to stay for them or not and if we will be taking any kind of mid-day breaks. But I figure we have enough time there to be flexible. I don't plan on getting hoppers and I am playing the waterparks by ear. Not sure if we will want to go there or not, but will decide while there. I also figure we will go to DTD some evening as well.

Anyone else have their itineraries to share?

I have to share with you guys a little bit of Disney Magic that came our way this week. Tell me what the chances of this are.

My husband and I plan to go March 20-27, then he told me he was probably going to have to miss his annual developers conference. This is a big deal for him , as it is in a different major city every year and he enjoys it emensely. He was pretty sure it was during our vacation, but he opted not to go, and go to Disney with the family instead.

He comes home yesterday and tells me this.... and I can barely believe it. His developers conference this year is at DISNEY WORLD and it starts March 28th, the DAY after our vacation ends. We are able to STAY with him if we want, at the Swan, for (almost) free if we choose. We arent going to do that, since it will mean our kids will be out of school for 8 days.... but he is going to stay after we fly home, and his plane ticket is paid for, ( that means we only have three to buy!!!) and he gets to attend his conference, and even cooler, he is a speaker. So he gets to fall in love with Disney World, then his family leaves and he gets three more magical days with the Mouse! ( after working all day of course) But seriously, what are the chances of THIS???:yay:Isnt that wild?

We're going March 14-19. Animal Kingdom Villas-Jambo House. Me, DW, & our 17 yo nephew. We're celebrating his graduation from high school. Waiting for Southwest to open up our dates, so I can book flights. Like many of you, looking forward to/dreading Oct. 27th.

We'll be there those exact dates!!! But we'll be at Kidani. We JUST started the DVC process and booked this trip yesterday. SOOOO excited!!

We are all set and ready to go!! Arriving 2/28 and leaving 3/5, staying in Windsor Palms, and SURPRISING my 3 and 4 year old!!!!

This is the kind of Disney magic I just LOVE to hear:wizard:
Thanks for sharing this.

What a great idea! We will be at CSR from 3/6-3/13. I just printed off the "chain link" on themouseforless.com and draped it across my kids' rooms, 115 links to break until we fly out!:wave2:

Our plans just got better! After our cruise we're going to be staying at a Safari View two bedroom room in Kidani Village! YEAH!!!! My parents surprised us with this great upgrade tonight! I'm so excited. Is it March yet?:goodvibes

Those are our exact dates! Congrats on your trip and what a great surprise for the kids!

We're going for the first time March 27 to April 3. It's a surprise for the kids if you can surprise teens.

This will be our first time at CSR! 2/28 - 3/7!

Has anyone heard anything about crowd levels or weather?

So excited!

We have been this week the last 2 years and it is great!! Crowds are very manegable and the weather is usually fantastic. This past March we had a little cold front come through and it was freezing, but it only lasted 2 days and we survived! The parks were empty when it was cold.

We will be camping...so I really hope that there is no cold front...lol We would freeze in our tent.

We will be doing Rope Drop on Wednesday March 10th at MK too. We have breakfast at 7am at Chef Mickeys.

Our Itinerary:

Arrive early Tuesday, March 9th - Go to Epcot (Dinner at Ohana's)
Wednesday, March 10th - Chef Mickeys Breakfast 7am, Rope Drop for MK
Thursday, March 11th - DHS or AK
Friday, March 12th - Epcot (EMH) I know that you are suppose to avoid EMH but this day was planned early on.
Saturday, March 13th - AK or DHS (really not sure what day we will do AK, but it will only be one day)
Sunday, March 14th - Breakfast at 8am Crystal Palace, MK all day EMH open really late. :cool1::cool1::cool1:
Monday, March 15th - Pack up camp, go to park of kids choice for half a day, then drive home.

I'm sure that we will run into some crowds, because I haven't been before and I didn't use anything to help with my decisions... :lmao: But that is okay, just gives us more reason to go back again.

I just booked our timeshare (off property) We will be there March 27 thru April 3. Oh how I have missed my mouse.
