Doing my surgery on Wednesday so I'll have 5 days (at least) of no work so I can go full force on planning, prepping, etc!
By the way this delayed the trip by 2 hours because it's the only appt. she had open

We were watching flights for so long before deciding when to book. Never again will I purchase flights from AirTran. They were the least expensive and some flights started to go back up in price so we decided we should jump on the $150 one way flight while we still could. We would suck it up at have a 6 AM flight. Now we've read through the DIS that they have a history of changing flights. Boy, we should've bought our tickets today. A 2 PM flight magically appeared and the cost? Only $92. This is very frustrating for us!
Now we're unsure as to if we should fork over the $75 fee to get a later time so we could sleep in, or just suck it up like the initial plan. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
If it were me, I'd be rejoicing at the 6am flight because that would mean I'd get to WDW earlier. I'm all about maximizing my time there. But in the end, you should do what's best for you.

It took us a few tries but it started working Yesterday when we were 9 days out. I decided to wait until I get there to check in so I can try and get the building request we want.
Did you know that the hotels themselves get the reservations from booking 10 days out. So if you call the hotel directly, you should be able to place your special building request. I will call directly 10 days out and make sure my request is in and ask about the free internet. Free internet at DVC resorts is for DVC members staying on points only, we are DVC members, but we're technically staying on another members points. They're really mostly my points, but in order to combine my points with hers, we had to transfer them to her account because her points were not eligible for transfer to my account because hers were banked. I want to make sure we get our free internet so I can continue to DIS and Facebook post.
That's awsome have so much fun! We are 6 days away from our drive I am so excited.

I think I'm going to make an appointment for my mani and pedi at Saratoga Springs Resort & SPA!!! The SPA part I've never tried! I said to my husband "I'm gonna make an appointment for a mani and pedi at Saratoga's spa, its only about $100... you don't mind right?"6 DAYS
Finished packing except for Crayons and snacks. The Van will get cleaned out on Wed. and DH works a 24 hour shift on Thursday we will pack up the Van on Friday and Leave Saturday after my all important Mani and Pedi

at least we're less than 15 minutes from Dulles Airport.
Also, if a special request has NOT been made, they'd be able to take it. Prior to 10 days out, they do not have your vacation information. I received this tip from a very helpful and friendly front desk cast member at Port Orleans Riverside.
