I'll be in Epcot in 11 days! We start the drive in 9 days! Ive just got my cousins bridal shower this weekend and two more days in the classroom and I am Disney Bound!

I saw a construction worker on my way home today wearing a Mickey poncho. That just got me even more Dis-cited!

Oh I do too, don't judge me for the mint tea, there was a reason! I have in the past got horribly bloated on flights so I tried to be a bit more sensible this year and have as few carbs and no coffee before my flight (both can give me IBS like symptoms). I cannot tell you how hard it was to not have caffeine! However, it totally worked and I had some wine and coffee on the flight instead.

I'm going to start a trippie while I'm here I think, given that for today at least, I'm up before the sun and twiddling my thumbs until I can go in search of breakfast and then Mickey. Last night I was considering making today an orientation day with a bit of shopping on the side. But now I'm awake I'm hitting rope drop at MK and doing at least a half day over the there, seems madness to do anything else!

Oh and I didn't crash the hire car or use the satnav because there was no signal in the car parking and when I cam out I was straight on a busy road, bonus points for me please

No, as a preschool teacher I saw that going around here in March. Thankfully, I'm off so I'm not exposed to an abundance of cold germs right before the trip. I can wash my hand all day but it doesn't help a bit when a 4 year old sneezed in your face.
I'm making sure I wash my hands when I get home from shopping and will start taking Air Borne a few days before we leave just in case. This reminds me of a Close to Home comic that shows a family walking down the street with gas masks on and underneath it says they going to WDW in a few days.

Leaving in 12 hours!!!!!!!! and..........this morning I picked up a Cinderellas Royal table reservation out of the blue that I was not even looking for. My 3yo DD is going to be drowning in princesses in a matter of days and I could not be more excited about it.

Safe travels to those leaving in the next few days!! Hope you all have magical vacations We leave next weekend and kids are still clueless.......this is the first time we've not told them and honestly it is so much fun - especially knowing how excited they will be once they find out

I don't know if the other resorts are doing it but at POFQ they're doing a test for a expedited type of check in where you can just get off the magical express bus and go right to your room. They text/email you with the room number before you get there. There's certain requirements to qualify and it's only for check ins during a two week window but now I'm even more excited to try something else new. I qualify and my check in is within the dates so this should be interesting.

We are in our second day in the parks. We landed Tuesday night at 8:30 and ME was empty. CBR was first stop. Our luggage arrived at midnight.

Yesterday was MK. We rode mine train with fp. We got a 4th fp for pirates in the early afternoon but ended up riding standby so changed it to Peter Pan for after our BOG dinner. Took a break in the afternoon so we only had the four fp.

Today in HS it is about the same- got a fourth for tonight when we return. We got RNRC for before Fantasmic.

So far haven't had to wait more than 10 min for a bus.

Glad we didn't have to leave our van at Omaha airport in the hail, though my SIL who had the van did get quite a bit of damage to her house. The van is ok in her shed though. Thankfully at our house we didn't get do much storm.

Thanks for the update. Our plane lands at 6:30pm and I'm still trying to decide if we want to pick up our own luggage or not. Midnight sounds awful late. If I knew it would be there no later than 10pm...

Two more sleeps!

I have most of the laundry done- which is a minor miracle as I am always behind.

I finally finished our bands.
In order of me & dh (freehand), then DS-4y, DD-1y, DD-9y (tattoos for kids)

Tomorrow we have:
My mani-pedi.
Pick my eldest up from her last day of school at noon.
Our hair appointment at 12:30.
Dogs to the kennel around 3-ish.
Packing.
Cleaning.
Eating.
(Probably not) Sleeping.
Wake up before the sun and GO GO GO!

I finished my MB too! DH just wanted the MH outlined so I left it at that. I used acrylic paints and two coats of acrylic sealer. Seems pretty protected, but we'll see how it holds up.

I have been obsessively checking the boards/new and missed the release of the new FP when time was exteneded Sunday/Monday bc I had to take my mom to doctor out of town and had decided to "let it go."

I worked for 6 months to get a dress for my 5 year old and had an Anna tutu and leotard made for my one year old. So this is a huge win for us!

So excited. Also, it is at 9:35 so fireworks may begin to go off as we exit the building...so appropriate!
