Hello, RainyDayPlay! McKinney is about 30 minutes north of Dallas. Hello fellow Texan! A state of mind truly. We will be flying. This summer we drove to Tennessee (15 hours straight) so we are done traveling by car for at least a year or two! Where are you traveling from?

Ashley, we are about half an hour from you in Kings Mountain. We'll be at WDW June 15-23 so almost the same dates as your family. It really is a small world after all!

Is it ok that I join in? I'm a newbie! We will be there from 6/3 - 6/10! We are staying at the BWV. We've stayed in this area before, once at the BWI and once at the YC.

Have a lot to get done, as we just booked our trip this past weekend, kind of on a whim. Now, it's time to get busy getting all of the details planned.

We may be moving our trip by a few days. Was planning on leaving right after school got out but looks like we will have some make up days. If it is only a couple might not sweat it but if we keep adding them may have to rethink our dates. Keeping our fingers crossed, lol.

Best Disney Story: There are so many! My most memorable is from our July 2013 trip. Our youngest son had open heart surgery in 2012 when he was 4. We planned the Disney trip on a whim because we just wanted to do something FUN! We stopped at guest services to get him a "celebrating life" button. We told them his story, and the cast member asked who his favorite character was. He told her "Pluto." Next thing I know, one of the CM's was running out the door to the gift shop next door and a few minutes later came back with a Pluto stuffed animal and presented it to Griffin. Needless to say, I was a bucket of mush and sobbing.

What do you look forward to most on your next trip? Trying out DVC (rented points at a GREAT deal from my dh's friend at work (less than $9 a point!) and being there for 15 days. I want to take things slow and just be able to explore! We were there for a Christmas trip too (Annual Passes sure do tempt you into sneaking in other trips!) and I felt a bit frazzled. This trip is going to be my slow down trip! We might not be back for a few years (3 trips in a year basically drained all our cash), so I want to savor this.

I don't know anything about it, sadly. I just know that they did it in Sept. last year and I linked that. I really really hope they do it for June! I think that with Maleficent coming out at the end of May, that it would just be smart to do it again. If nothing else, I'm sure Maleficent will be sighted more in June due to her movie premier!

My DD just reminded me about the Malificent movie yesterday, too. I think it is opening while we are at WDW! So she's hoping for special things! But, boy , our character hunt list sure is getting long: Ana and Elsa, Merida, and (fingers crossed) Malificent! With what I am hearing about the Frozen meet and greet in Norway, astronomical wait times!, I am not sure we can do them all! So we'll just hope for some Magic!

It is so fun reading through this site! I am loving planning our trip that begins in 126 days! We have decided not to visit universal studios this time around. Just not use how crazy it will be with new harry potter stuff opening. Instead ewe will be spending May 31 - June 6 exclusively at POR. We have decided to try out the water parks this time around. The kids are more excited about the water parks than universal so I'm thinking this is a win-win situation! Now here's to hoping that the Anna and Elsa meet and greet will be a fastpass+ option by the time we go!

I'm soooo excited! I just hate that I started planning so early - but, really, who could hate planning? ;D

I'm staying from June 6th to June 12th at the Art of Animation Resort! I'm so excited to be sleeping in the Lion King Room!

I think if there is something that I'm really, super, amazingly excited for, it's Animal Kingdom. I know, I know - it's usually Magic Kingdom, and believe me, I love them all. But there is something so magical about seeing animals so close, and CM's are so nice there.... ugh, the excitement is absolutely killing me!

What do you look forward to most on your next trip? Everything! My kids have never been and I want to enjoy watching them take in all the wonder of Disney World. My DS is graduating High School in June 2014 and this is his gift. A little of mine too. HEHE!!

Just wanted to say Welcome Neighbor! We are just north of SF and it is our first trip to WDW too. Two years ago our two DS's graduated from HS and we asked if they wanted a trip to WDW or laptops. They chose laptops. How did they get so practical? Cheaper for us, anyway and now DH and I can go by ourselves. I hope you come back and let us know how you're plans are going. I read through the WDW side of the boards a little everyday just to try to soak up the information. It is soooo different from DLR!
