We made it!!!! Thanks wdwnut61 because you were sooooo right! This place is truly magical and I feel so happy and relaxed! Even though it's yucky weather with rain, thunder etc. we are sitting in POP's food court enjoying a late lunch. We just tried the tie dyed cheesecake (yummy!) and my 9 yo princess is thoroughly enjoying her Oreo cupcake! Can't wait for you all to join us because I have decided I am never going home!!!!

Just printed our boarding passes and we got A 19 and A 20

YAY! Lucky you! Make sure you think about all of us who are still sitting at work/home patiently (or not so patiently!) waiting for our ME ride!

Thanks. I felt bad for the CM when I called. I told her my room requests didn't take and asked if i could have them noted. She said sure. I said are your ready, I've done my research. She said she was ready, but I don't think she was, lol. I requested building 3, lake view, 4th floor, by the stairwell, lol. It took her a bit to type it all in, haha! I know it's not guarenteed, but we'll see what happens. I just want it to be quiet I'm so excited to go and even more excited that my sister is so excited!! (Not to mention I could use a break from my kids, haha!)

I'm so happy for all those leaving soon, can't wait for my turn!

Waiting out another thunderstorm... Pouring!!! The weather hasn't wanted to shine on us. Managed to get soaked last night at MK in FP line for BTMR but at least we got to ride it! Our dollar tree ponchos ripped so we bit the bullet and bought Disney ones. At least we're dry today! For those of you planners, have backup plans and go with the flow. Have had to make many ride adjustments in our plan!

Yes we did early bird check in however when we did it this past November we still got A but it was a much higher number in the 40's.

Needless to say I was doing the big Happy Dance this morning but I had to be quiet because everyone was sleeping

Well, the more severe stuff has happened in the afternoon/evening. Like right now! This morning it was just cloudy but looked iffy until about 2:30 when it downpoured. Radar looks like rain for awhile as the severe stuff is moving out.

Does anyone know if they run Fantasmic when it rains/storms?

As far as Fantasmic if it's raning hard or any lightening they will cancel. I have read reports of them having it with light rain. I hope you are able to see it while you're there.

I'm looking at the forecast and its says 40-60% chance scattered thunderstorms for everyday we are there. Is this normal or we just got a bad run of weather for our trip (or maybe get lucky and the forecast will chane before Saturday)?

We returned Monday from 10 days at disney, it rained everyday with the exception of 1 day. It was more than a afternoon shower. Bring your ponchos and a change of shoes for all. Have a great time.

Wow how time flies it seems like you were just here getting ready for your trip. I'm already depressed and we haven't even gone! So was it long showers or maybe an hour? Any certain time of the day it rains on average? I'm ready for the poncho but I just want to know what to expect.

It rained mornings noon and night at different times. Sometimes short showers other times torrential rain that did not stop for hours. I have what I think is a summer cold it started the night before we left. Good luck you will have a ball

Like Echo queen said, it's more than a passing shower. I second the second pair of shoes,or crocs. Tonight is very nice though and for the first time no ponchos! The news said it should be getting better by Saturday with just the normal 20% chance in pm as usual. Just be prepared! We're having a blast no matter what!
