***Official June, 2012! Hot, hot, hot!!!***

It checks you in at 36 hour mark, however you still can't print your passes until 24 hour mark.

Thank you! But since you're checked in earlier than others, your boarding position should be higher than those who check in at the 24 hour mark, right? Hope so! I just want to make sure that DD and I sit together - when DH and I went in April, we weren't so lucky and the flights were completely full both down and back.

You should be ahead of everyone that has not paid. Typically A1-15 are reserved for business class fares. The they will check in people who are A-list and A-list preferred alphabetically, then EBCI. I am not sure what the order is for that, I have heard first purchased but I can not confirm. I can let you know what number we have got next week, I bought the EBCI the day fares came out. If anyone else wants to share their board positions that would be great as well. Enjoy your trip!!!!

Thank you Mossy!!! And we'll definately let you know as soon as we get the confirmation! :goodvibes

We arrive at POFQ in 8 days and I'm praying for some rain free, ok, well at least, downpour free, days!! If not, we're gonna run through the rain and have a great time anyway!

Good luck to all of us headed there in the next couple of weeks!! :goodvibes

Our 24 hour mark is tomorrow at 630 am so I'll post what we got, we ordered ours back in February. I'm fine with whatever but like the PP said I just want our family close together-last year on the way home we ended up all over the place with 4 of us.

I gave into the fact that it will probably downpour while we are there so we went and got some plastic flip flops so that we can splash our way thru the parks! Im determined to have a great time...away from work, away from reality, and having fun with my family what could be better!

Speaking of Seaworld, we have a couple days planned there this trip...how was it in the rain? I've never been and don't want to waste the tickets if its going to rain us out of shows and such. Disney I can take the rain, way more stuff to do...but man I'm hoping this rain really goes away! We were spoiled last year with 10 days of sunshine.

We still had a good time. Seating at Shamu stadium and the whale and dolphin theatre is covered. A lot of the exhibits are inside as well. I don't know the make up of your family, but there is also a huge play area there called Happy Harbor. It has a huge covered play ground that dd and ds played in and stayed dry.

Only issue we had was that my son really disliked the rain cover on his stroller. It was a battle through out the day. I'd put it down and he'd push it up onto the canopy. :sad2:

I have finally found him a very thin rain coat for our trip. I've been having a terrible time finding something small enough, that didn't cost $30. I didn't want to pay that when ds rarely wears a rain coat. In any other situation I'd be carrying him and using an umbrella. But I finally found these on Amazon. I picked out two because I"m not quite ready to order and there's only one left of one of them so I wanted a backup.

I'm hoping the system sitting over Florida moves out over the next two weeks. I don't mind some rain. I'd rather it not rain for hours and hours. But we'll be ready.

Ok checking in, we did EB checkin and printed our boarding passes this morning- we got A18-A21!! Wow that is a big difference over our C40ish position last year with normal check in.

Made some changes to our plans and packed up most everything last night. Im exhausted today at work but this time tomorrow we'll be in the sky! Hoping to bring the sunshine from the midwest down there with us :)

Have a great trip. I heard that next week it is supposed to be back to the normal amount of rain (brief daily).

I love early bird check-in. It doesn’t guarantee A group, but the furthest back we have been when using it was A58-60, which is the last of the A group, but we have been as close to the front as A21-23. Sounds like you will be some of the first on after the business select or whatever it is called. I think they take up A1-15. It’s important to me as my daughter deals with some separation anxiety. She’s fine with flying, but not sure how she’d handle being separated from us on the plane. I’m also usually really busy at the 24 hour mark before departure and in a park at the 24 hour mark before return, so it’s nice not to have to worry about it, just print the boarding passes when I get a chance the night before we leave and I love how Disney prints them. I usually add EBCI on later, but this time I added it the day after I bought the tickets. I bought the tickets first day the dates were available so I’ll be interested to see what we get.

I hope you are right about the rain! I feel so bad my boss was down there until today-I hope they were able to have a good time.
I totally agree, my kids are good with flying (and they are 10 & 12) but to me it makes me feel better to know that we are sitting close together in case they should need me. I'm still stressing about this plane ride with my last one so horrible and bumpy (abnormally so it was the tower of terror all over again...my son even raised his arms like he was on a roller coaster ). Its giving me anxiety and Im somebody that has flown in the Army and overseas A LOT. All it took was one flight to ruin me

Best wishes for a smooth flight and landing. I had to chuckle a bit at your son raising his arms.

SINGLE DIGITS!!!

Howver, my DD11 woke up with "intestinal problems" this morning and has been hanging out in the bathroom most of the morning. She got sick with something like this around the same time last year, right before we went on vacation.

Hope she gets to feeling better soon and that no one else gets it. Have a great time on vacation. We don't leave until the 21st and won't arrive until the 23rd.
