Good Morning June peeps
Today we can all say we are going to Disney next month
It may have been RIGHT before the deadline, but it counts right?? I just paid off my June vacation last night!! WAHOO!!
Goodness gracious, I guess so!
My fil went to the doctor today and what we thought was a pinched nerve (bulging disk worst case) is a laundry list of things and the worst of them being a cyst looking thing on his spine that may be cancer. He goes to the surgeon tomorrow, but the doctor he saw today didn't think he would be able to run appliance service calls anymore. Actually, they don't want him walking more than a few steps max and told him to stay in a wheelchair. If he can't run calls (and my bil is unwilling to run them on his own), that only leaves my DH. Which I don't know if he can, or they will let him, take time off for a vacation. The fil could be having surgery as soon as this week or next. I swear I feel like Gandalf is standing between us and WDW saying, "You shall not pass." WOO HOO!! I got the emails that I have been waiting for!! I'll have the money that we were planning on using for extra stuff to and after WDW and WDW spending money in no more than 14 days.
That's if we get to go.

My DS got up for school this morning, the first thing I said "We are going to WDW next month"
Trying hard to still keep it a secret from the kids but Im dying to tell them.Yes, Suzanne! We're still on for breakfast on the 8th! Looking very much forward to it!
I got my Mickey Mail last Saturday (on my birthday!) and I started filling my box of stuff for pre-packing. It's starting to feel more real now.
Monday is my neck surgery which is just a two-hour in/out surgery and then I get to stay home for a week and read the DIS for hours on end! Since I have been answering calls at work to the tune of over 1000 calls since April 2nd, surgery is almost a mini-vacation compared to answering people's questions over and over and entering stuff on my old PC at work.
As soon as I can after surgery I have to get up on our exercise machine and start walking to build up stamina for all that walking I want to do in June!
It's been really hot here in Maryland lately and I keep thinking that this is how it will be at WDW.
I have never been down to Disney in warm, warm weather so this will be a first. In fact, I've never been in a pool at Disney in my 13 trips but I think I will swim this time!

Started organizing and "packing" things yesterday! My husband swears he is only going to make me happy but when he is telling me to write down all the good snacks lol I can tell he is excited to!
Now that the time is so close Im ready to start preparing which parks etc. and get more specifics~this is the fun part when it is so close. I have a question though about upgrading our tickets that maybe somebody could help with or point me in the direction of a somebody that has done this (I already read the upgrade sticky and it caused my question lol). We have the dining plan and 10 day tickets, we are going for 15 days so I want to upgrade to an AP, but on the sticky it said that if you have the dining plan it will screw up your KTTW-as in your dining entitlements get messed up somehow. Has anybody done this and not had an issue, or how do I prevent this from happening?
