***Official June, 2012! Hot, hot, hot!!!***

I have been subscribed to this thread for awhile and never put down our trip:

June 13th - 23rd at the Poly

Look out and we are bringing the relatives!!!!:cool1: (A few Disney Haters to with us that are making some strange plans...but to each their own! We're back baby!!!!)

I already have a pile started and may need to pull out a bag or two to get it more organized.

:hourglass

Well, I did get a few things on the to do list accomplished this weekend, but didn't meet all of my goals.

I printed out all of the pages for my children's autograph books, but didn't cut them or take them to get bound like I planned. I printed out all of the dining invitations and dd's BBB invitation, but didn't take them to get laminated. I was printing out the pages for their memory books when the low ink light came on on the printer.

Somehow we just ended up sitting in the house all of Saturday until around 7 when I remembered we needed milk and a couple of other things. We got something else accomplished from that though.

We walked to the store instead of driving. It's a 20 minute walk each way and we kept a pretty brisk pace. The pollen's been kicking my butt, but both dd and I agree we need to get out and walk regularly now.

I too have been trying to lose weight and it hasn't gone anywhere. Wanted to lose 30 to 40 pounds and I think I've lost 10. We'll see how the next couple of months go, but I didn't want to wait until last minute to buy my shirts. I'm making quite a few for the trip and didn't want to be doing them all at the last minute. I ordered more feminine cut shirts for myself this time. They cost a little more, but they'll fit me better.

Went for extra ink today and of the 4 Wal-Marts I could have chosen, I chose one that didn't have my ink in stock.

I did get dd's 2nd swim suit this week and today I found ds some pool/beach shoes. We're getting there.

Thank you. I was supposed to go see her yesterday with my mom and dad. The only thing was that yesterday was the race at the Texas Motor Speedway. In order for me to have gone with them, they would to have to have gone way out of the way to pick me up and drop me off. I didn't want them to have to do that. I'll just go another weekend with them and see her. Mother's day is coming up, maybe I'll go then.
I hope the mil doesn't do that to y'all and the trip is still on. Honestly with all y'all have gone through with the work situations to be able to go, if it's all go with the jobs, I would still go. You should just tell her, "that's fine if y'all don't want to go, but we're going."

Oh, I certainly understand. I thought about you this weekend with the race. We missed watching it, not sure how that happened, DH usually complains if I try to watch something else while the race is on.

I talked to MIL on Friday evening, she didn't say they wouldn't be able to go, but I have no idea, she sort of cut me off, she and her husband were out eating. I will get DH to check with her later. The trip still may be off if DH doesn't pass his PT test this weekend, we will lose all our military benefits and insurance and we will have to use our trip money for other things. I just need to crawl in a hole until it's all over. My life is too stressed right now.

Well on my to-do list for today, I have to take a Psyc quiz and then write a paper for my U.S. History class. Then with in the next couple of day, I have to take to final exams. I might go ahead and take the Psyc one today to get it out of the way. I swear, I should have listened to my mom and finished college before having kids. It's so much more of a pain in the rear trying to balance school and family.

None of that sounds like fun. I don't miss school one bit. There is no way I could balance schol with my life right now, even with no children. You're a better person than I am!

It's 80 degrees here today and humid so I guess Maryland is getting me ready for Florida!

Next weekend I will start my collection box for items I think of to grab and pack for the trip.

I have several "hoops" to jump through before my trip though:

---Minor surgery to replace my C6-C7 disk in my neck on May 7th; should be an overnight stay at most and necessary to relieve long-standing neck and hand problems; :tilt:

---Figure out how to relieve the recent pain in my right knee/leg so I can walk endlessly at Disney! I had a cortisone shot last week but that didn't help. :scratchin

---Pull together all the loose change in the house for my spending money! :hyper:

---Go visit my Mother about 70 minutes away and see how's she's doing!

I better start working on all of this! :thumbsup2

Boy, you have a full plate.

Good luck with your surgery. Are you taking anti-inflammatories for your knee? They help me tremendously, well for my knees, but they do nothing for my foot/ankle.

Hello to my "June-bugs!" :rotfl:

I am going with my best friend June 25-July 1st at POFQ. We will be on DxDP (I LOVE it and it's wonderful for adult-only trips where the food is a big part of the trip)

Just went to Walmart this weekend for:

-Moleskin
-$0.88 ponchos (got that tip on here)
-Personal fan and spray mister
-Travel Scissors (for the moleskin!)

This haul got dumped into my "Disney" drawer in my room. It's so full of travel supplies it can barely close! I can't wait until the day I get to start packing! :woohoo:

I think I'm at like 69 days til my trip! :cool1:

I hope you find out soon what she wanted to talk about. I hate it when people say they need to talk to you, but instead of doing it right then, they want to do it later. I always assume that it's going to be bad, and stay stressed about it, until they tell me what it is.

I'll be praying that the DH passes his PT test. I think we both need a dang-it doll to take out stress on. I have a friend that can crochet anything, or maybe I just need to sweet talk my mom into making me one. I guess I could use my DH until I get the doll, but it wouldn't be good for him to go to work all bruised up. People might think I'm abusing him. :lmao:

It wasn't at all. The Psyc paper wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. The U.S. History paper, well I just hope I don't get points off for it being so long, and I don't think I answered all of the questions b/c I was afraid it was getting too long. She said it had to be 4 to 5 pages double spaced, not included the reference page. Well mine was 11, including cover and reference pages. Well I kinda didn't have a choice. My DH drove me to the school one day, and I thought we were just going to Fry's (an electronic store). He told me that I could either get a job now, or go to school and get a job where I could make good money and do it from home.

MIL wanted to know about the ticket prices and I told her about the dining prices, as I want to add the dining plan, I think it would be cheaper with all adults. She just didn't say one way or the other whether that was a problem or not, thtat bugs the crap out of me. I mean Dh and I are paying for the room, DH offered without asking me first, arghhh. We are also able to get the military discount to make the tickets really cheap, what more do they want.

I need a big old punching bag, I would beat it senseless!

I wish I could wake up and it would already be July and all stress was gone, Dh was reenlisted and the in-laws were gone. Obviously that won't happen and I would miss the trip, but I'm just not sure it's worth it!

Good Luck on your assignments, I am sure you'll do great.

I would try and shorten the paper. I have had a few professors in my days that would have taken off or flat out not accepted it if it was that much longer. When they said 4-5 pages, they wanted 4-5 pages (though often were okay with 6). It's part of the assignment and they expected it to be followed. There is a reason for the length assigned and it's not always because they want you to be sure to be long enough... it's sometimes a test.

Well, if y'all add the DDP, if they are on y'alls ressie, they have to have it as well. Everyone on the same package has to have the same tickets. I don't blame you, I would want to beat the heck out of something too. When we lived in our old house, the backyard had a cinderblock retaining wall running the length of the back of it. When I got really frustrated I would stand in the backdoor and throw a dish at it as hard as I could. I'm sure the guys that mowed our lawn that I was crazy. There was a couple feet of concrete coming out of the base of the retaining wall, so the dish fell there when it broke.

Thank you, I'm sure I'm just stressing needlessly about it.

I coudln't. Well I guess I could have, but I wouldn't have answered all the questions that she asked. On the other paper that we had to write for this class, she put "four to five pages minimum". I'm assuming she just forgot to put the minimum. That paper I got a 145/150, so I'm hoping for about the same grade. My DH had several profs that were like yours. If it was too long, they would either count off a lot or just not accept it at all.

Good Luck on your assignments, I am sure you'll do great.

You are my official good luck charm!! I haven't gotten the grade for my History paper yet, but I did get the one for my Psyc paper. I got a 91!!!!! Not bad for someone who spent about 2 hours on it, fixed the spelling as I went, and didn't have a read through.

Myself and the family will be on our way to Disney World June 9th through the 16th. We are staying at Parkway International. It's been awhile since we have been to Parkway, but we are looking forward to it. It's been a long time since we have had both boys with us for a Disney trip. The last few times we would take only one boy (our oldest is almost 22.) We are looking forward to having the entire family together!!

Ugh, June can't come soon enough!! Today is Tax Day, and I am at work all day doing taxes:( I have already had someone call and yell at me (at least the mistake wasn't my fault!) So ready to be in Disney, surrounded by friendly cast memebers...

I just need to stay in my "happy place" :earsboy:

I just hit the two month mark on my ticker. Time is flying. It seems like it said six months until our trip yesterday. I am SO excited!:banana::banana::banana:
