Official june 2010 thread!

June 14-19 for me, June 16-21 for big sister. We thought we'd each like to try a couple of days solo, just to see what it's like. It is so difficult to get away with the farm but I never thought I'd like going alone so...
I think I'll probably spend my solo days around the resort.

19th-25th!! Can't get here soon enough! We are staying at the Poly. Our last trip (which was also our 1st to WDW) was in 07. We took our RV and stayed at Ft Wilderness. It was great, but kids begged to not take the RV this time.....we had to live in it a while after Hurricane Ike ruined our home!

Hello all,
I am going June 11-14, for a long weekend with just the girls. 4 moms are running away to Disney World to run in the Expedition Everest. I keep going back and forth between super excited to eat uninterrupted meals and ride rides all night with no whining to feeling super guilty for not taking my kids. We will be going back for a long weekend with the family in December though so I'm trying not to feel too guilty.

I was all excited about my ticker - 3 month 3 days.... until I remembered that in 3 month and 1 day my baby will become a Middle Schooler.

This is our trip to celebrate his 5th grade graduation. Bittersweet...

Does anybody have a suggestion on how we can celebrate 5th grade graduation at Disney?

Here's where we are eating.... Do you know if any of these places will do something special? It's a REALLY big deal. DS11 has a learning disability but was still able (with lots of prayer, hard work and amazing teachers) to score 4's on his end of grade testing (that's the highest score)! We are so thankful and proud of him. We really want to celebrate...

We're just 8 days out from our departure date and 10 from our check-in at POR (we're spending Sunday night at Regal Sun, due to uncertainties about traffic and our arrival time)!!! 5/31 to 6/5!!! The whole family is bouncing like Tigger on a caffeine rush and WE'RE TOO EXCITED TO SLEEP!!!

On a more serious note, did you tell the CM you were celebrating a graduation when you made your reservations? I'm pretty sure that you can order room decorations and other cool stuff for your arrival, but I think it's pretty pricey.
