I'm sitting at my office today finishing up at work, and will be jumping in my car at 3pm to head on up to Disney. Checking into Boardwalk at approx 7pm today!

Maybe I'll bump into you in the parks somewhere. Gotta eat at Jiko at least one day, so I'll be over at AKL too.

And if I don't see you, have a great trip!

Where will you stopping to stay? We are just South of Atlanta but drive all the way, it is only about 6 to maybe 7 hours if we stop alot. We leave out Friday night about midnight, Dh has decided he wants to drive all night and miss the I-75 traffic, but I know he just wants to get there sooner

We have decided we will head over to Daytona on June 13 and drive up I-95 to St Augustine and Jacksonville then back to I-75 to go home, since I haven't been to the coast in a long time and we don't have to rush home.

We are leaving ATL about 10pm Friday night (DD has a dance recital) we booked a room in Tifton then on Saturday we are driving to Homosassa Springs to see the Manatees and staying off site on Saturday night. If we were not leaving so late on Friday we would have driven all the way there in about 7 hours.

Flying...I don't love it, but I LOVE being there in a few hours with minimal fighting from the dcs. When I was little, we always drove from Chicago to FL, every Nov., in the station wagon and later the van. Good times...kinda!
So, I had DS atthe Dr. today. He had a headache yesterday and said his ear hurt today. Turns out it was swimmer's ear, so we have a prescription and the dr. said to be sure to take it to WDW. Also, our Dr. is a Disfreak...he had on a Mickey tie!

Oh no I hope that he feels better....that stinks!!!

11 Days!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited I've struggled so much to try and pull this off for my kids. My boys (7 & 9) have no idea we are even going! I'll tell them when they ask "why we are at the airport?"

I got my copy of the Unofficial Guide yesterday and have been slowly perusing it since. I'm on the section titled "Disney, Kids, and Scary Stuff" and going down the list of what I took DD on in October. Most of the stuff I took her on that is listed as "scary", she absolutely loved! I see more things that I was bothered by (acrophobia + Dumbo = Mom telling her child halfway up is just high enough, thank you!) than she was! The only thing she didn't seem to enjoy while we were on it was BTMRR, and I'm pretty sure I can get her on it again...all she talks about now is riding the roller coasters!

17 days...and stuff is already getting packed!
