Just paid our final balance - 8 weeks today and we'll be there!!!!

Our 1st time staying at a Disney Hotel - POFQ - and it can't get here quick enough!! Have loads of extra things we wouldn't normally do booked, inncluding a Wishes Cruise

I haven't even thought what i'm wearing yet, all I know is it won't be sweatshirts and jeans like I've been wearing the last few months



53 days !!!

I don't normally wear shorts, but I will down there, I am sure I won't see anyone I know, so all will be okay. I guess I will take what I have and hope I don't run out. I like to change clothes more in the summer than I do in the winter, since it is sooo hot. I will just be glad to do away with all the rain wear, I am soooooooo sick of rain I don't know what to do.

We will be there from the 21-28 (staying at AKV-Kidani). We've been more times than I can count, but never in June. I'm a little nervous about crowds/heat. Should I be? Any good tips? Thanks!

It will be hot, but really, I was just hot walking between rides and attractions. Most things (with the exception of AK) are inside! There are plenty of places to cool off in. Last Aug. we actually watched many of theEpcot shows! As far as crowds go, get there early.

52 days and counting down I can finally relax now and enjoy gettin gready, now that all taxes are completed. Now to get Dcousin healed and graduated from High School and then on to our trip.

Luckily, I won a free day off work and added it to the day before we leave, so I can be at home and getting ready and get out the door early on Saturday morning.

Got the taxes done yesterday-plenty o'money for the trip. I also brought up the suitcases and started putting summer stuff in them-no need for them in IL right now. Cold, rainy, and crappy!

Hey paintnolish, we have had the rainy and crappy so I know what you mean. I am sooooo sick of the rain I don't know what to do. It doesn't usually bother me, but it really has this year.

I did our taxes in February, but I had to do my mothers and put it off as long as possible, as she is deceased and someone told me I didn't have to do them, then I found out I did and it is kinda upsetting, it just added to the finality of it.

Are any of you taking your video camera? Mom bought me one for our first trip in June 2005 and I never really figured out how to use it and I decided maybe we should this time, since we are taking this trip at a snails pace and there is only Dh and I going.

April showers bring May flowers. It has been raining since yesterday and it is going to rain all day long today! I sure hope we don't have baseball today! Our kids played in the pouring rain Monday night and it was freezing. Sometimes I think the dad's are crazy! If a mom was running the league the games would have been rescheduled.

Glad I'm not the only one hating these nasty mornings. I like that thinking each one I survive is one closer to WDW.
PrincessSuz- Taxes are a pain. We pay to have them done, since we aren't "math" people. As far as vid cam, I brought one once but hardly used it. However, I had 2 dcs to look after, too, and you might be able to handle it better since it is just you and dh.
arubio- Congrats!
sherababy- Dads are "dedicated" = crazy!
My mom is coming by with a "lot" of pins from Ebay-purchsed for the dcs to trade with. Can't wait to see 'em!
