Official JUNE 2009 Thread!!!

We have been in March, May, and June and June was really HOT!!! May was almost perfect, and March was pretty wet! We loved our trip last June but it was very hot every day.

Yeah, I was a little worried about the crowds, but UG was a glimmer of hope... until today.

Anyone else see the updated crowd levels?? what was 6/7 is now 8/9....

You prior Juners give me hope though.

Now that ADRs are completed, I feel more relaxed and can start to get excited. If someone from Disney is reading this, Please extend the ADR window back around 150 to 180 days. I truly feel that if they are selling a dining plan, than I should be able to have more choices with dates and times. I do not think anyone who purchased a dining plan did not have to make some changes to their original dining plan. 30/60 minutes here or there is fine but given the pre paid $, there seems to be too much craziness with "getting in" - just wishing it was not so stressful. If you couldn't get the restaurants you would have liked to dine at, would you rethink buying the plan? You get what you pay for, remember! Ok, now I feel better and will start planning the days out at the Wilderness Lodge(looks amazing). ADR's are as follows:

6/24 1900 Park Fare(dinner) 7:20 pm
6/25 Grand Floridian Cafe 6:30 pm
6/26 Whispering Canyon Cafe 5:25 pm
6/27 Coral Reef 5:40 pm
6/28 Le Cellier 7:05 pm
6/29 Chef Mickey(dinner) 6:45 pm

I can't believe it. I just checked this morning and the crowds were mostly 6s for our week. Now their 8s and 9s. Hopefully, they're wrong, but that probably doesn't happen much. Oh well, maybe that means Disney will add more fireworks and parades and maybe I'll be able to get into the F! dinner package.

Heat in June? My last two trips have been in August. In comparison, June should feel like a brisk winter day!

I don't think the weather will bother me much, I live in Puerto Rico!
Still, I've been there in June and July before, I'd much rather go in June, the weather is SO much cooler! As for crowds, I've always seen less in June than in July, but I haven't been to WDW in the summer for quite a few years...

Just booked very 1st trip June 28th to July 2nd
I'm from Savannah GA if it's anything like here June is much preferable to July or August heat. Hot or not. It's DISNEY. I've always wanted to go now I get to go and take my little ones! I haven't arrived yet and I'm already thinking going again in October sounds like a fine plan

Mine too! Very disappointed. That is what it is usually like when we have gone in June, but I was so hoping for those lower numbers. Oh well, still gonna go and have fun in spite of a gazillion people being there right!!

I am so excited. I got all of our ADRs made yesterday. I got all my 1st choices except for Coral Reef. I didn't want to change the day and the earliest time was 7:55 pm. Ugh! That is okay though. I feel like most of our planning is done now. Yay!

We're SO excited. We will be there June 22-29th. We've always been in March and it was perfect. Spring Break crowds were a little high but nothing like I'm expecting the June crowd to be. I have a question though...does anyone know when we can book golfing reservations and where I should book them? My Dad and my hubby want to go and I am NOT a golfer but I am the one booking everything. So, if you have any input, please let me know. Also, would they have golf clubs to rent? My family is stationed in the UK and the idea of dragging the clubs all over the States when we go on vacation is NOT a good thought!
