I just realized we decided all our ADRs...but never actually made them!!! I know what I'm doing tonight....

It looks like many of us will be there at the same time!

Just jumping in to say we will be staying at WL June 5-14. There will be 6 of us: MIL, FIL, DH, me, DS(14), DD(6).

71 Days here! Yay! I JUST booked the hotel yesterday. Pop. We will get there on the 13th and just relax and check out the resort, the next day we are going to sea world and then after that we are going to DISNEY! We will be leaving arond the 11th though because we have to drive 2 days so it is actually 69 days for us.

I have decided that this coming week, I am going to do a rough pack, to go through what we have and what we still need to get for the trip. My boyfriend is insisting that he always wears jeans in the summer. While I usually do to, that is a difference between summer in Ohio and summer in Florida. Is there any advice that can help me convince him to at least bring some shorts with. I don't want to spend my WDW vacation shopping for shorts, because he was too stubborn to listen to what I have to say.

Off to get some lunch. I am starving.

Take him to AK and let him ride Kali River Rapids. About an hour later, when the inside of his thighs are starting to chap and turn red, tell him he should have brought some shorts. They would be drying a lot quicker than a pair of wet jeans.

So bummed about this..... I really hope they are back in operation on the
19th as that will be our last day at the parks and POC is my dd's ONLY request for this trip (so far!)......

We're going 6/16-24. Our trip is later in the month this year because we are going with friends. I'm so glad we had to delay by a week. I'm just hoping the schedule doesn't change. My boys ARE pirates, and they HAVE to go on the ride.

It just bothers me that Disney waited so long to announce this closure. I checked carefully before booking our trip. I checked and checked... but now we have our plane tickets, so we can't change the dates. We are just lucky that it should be open for the end of our trip. I feel really bad for others who aren't so lucky.

We'll be there June 13-21st. First night at a value resort and the remainder of the trip at the Beach Club Villas. We cannot wait.....

I have the theme park sing-a-long and I am have been playing it for me....I mean the kids....

I LOVE your DD8's tracking method- if I go by her, I'm already in single digits at 8 weeks!!! WOO-HOO!!!!!

So we went shopping yesterday to get some new tank tops and things like that for our trip, but I couldn't bring myself to spend any money. I wanted to save my money for disney. I guess I better go through our closets to make sure I don't need any new clothes . . lol. I don't think Disney would want us half-clothed . . . lmao

Picking up the transfer paper to make our vacay tshirts today. Finally decided what to put on them. The pack of all the shirts will have "6 Princesses take on the WORLD 2008" and the front will have our fave characters and our nicknames. Can't wait to get them done. Just another way to kill time while waiting! YAY!

Right there with you on that! I can't believe how close it's getting. I've only lost 4 lbs and I must lose some more before our trip. I also need to get some new shoes soon. I just can not decide what kind to get. Definitely some new tennis shoes, but I also want some good, comfortable sandals.

Your doing better then me Amy. I've gained weight Dr. put me on steroids for my knee. I am not buying shoes until the beginning of June. DD's feet keep growing. I can't keep her in shoes right now, she has grown 2 sizes since school started and that incluses clothes! The rate she's growing I'll be better off waiting for Memorial day sales.

I hope your knee gets better. I haven't found any exceptional deals on shoes lately. I might have to wait until Memorial day as well. I know that our kiddos will need new shoes as well. This trip is really adding up! But I don't mind, it's well worth it!

It's time for me to join this thread, and do the 60 day dance!!

The time always goes FAST from here on out. I suddenly feel like I have a lot to do! LOL I've got ADR's made, though will probably change them/make some more... My park days are tentatively planned, some are for sure planned (like Star Wars Weekend days!) It's serious countdown and planning time!!!

We are a bit bummed about the POTC closure, but we are WDW vets and we know how that goes, can't let it bother you! But, I am really bummed for our neighbors who are going the same week as us, and are taking their 4 kids for their first trip!! POTC is a must do for a first timer. And you wouldn't expect it to be closed in the summer...it's just a bummer for them.

Anyway, 60 DAYS Mickey!!!!!!
