Im new to the boards. And i will be going Next Month. I cannot wait. I will be staying at the Port Orleans Resort. I am a huge Disney World fan.

Welcome to the DIS!! DH and I have stayed at Port Orleans Riverside and POFQ several times. That is our favorite resort areas to stay...I know you will have a great time!

Still waiting on codes...we should be hearing something soon...

Some relatives were going to join us and called Disney Reservations over the weekend. Disney said all that was left for June 24-29 was a $1,700 a night room at Grand Floridian.

Oh well. Still hoping for code. Here's for a little pixie dust for luck!

I just got an e-mail code for $154 a night for moderate (we are staying at POR)!!! Better then the AAA but still hopeing for AP rate.......any Idea when they will be out?

Talked to a CM yesterday about AP rates. He said to look for them as May 21 got closer. He said to wait about 1 more week! We'll see....

I just check those dates online, and there isn't availability at EVERY resort, but there certainly is more available than a $1700 a night room. Your friend should check online if they still want to go.

I called today to add one night at Pop. I had to pay rack rate $122.62 No AP rates (we knew that) no AAA at any value resorts for my dates in June. The cheapest available discount from AAA was CBR $161 pre tax.

I wonder whats going on that week there is very little availability anywhere. I really want to go that week and stay at POR. POR is available the week before and the week after but not June 22-28. And that is the only week we can go.

That is the last weekend of SWW, but there is nothing else special going on that weekend that isnt going on other weekends, so no reason for that to draw that many more people... Probably something else going on

10 more days, huh? I'm getting excited. I'm happy with what we have booked. We got the Dolphin for $194.50 with an AP discount but who knows - if I can find a Disney owned resort for a great rate...we may switch.

I remember last year, although it was July, we got $100 off a night at the Beach Club. Very nice!

Did you try actually calling AAA about an AAA rate in June? I have two rooms for June 14-21 and I had no problem getting an AAA rate.

I don't buy that.....think about the number of onsite rooms and to say that is all that is left. Call back and speak to someone else or call a AAA office.

There is only a limited amount of rooms available with the AAA rate and when they are gone that's it. Even if someone cancels they don't always put those rooms back at the AAA rate.
