Official June 2008 code watch

Hi all

I will add all newbies to the list tomorrow... Bare with me, had a family emergency, my mom has been in the hospital, just sort of catching up on life.

You guys are counting down already!? A June countdown and/or watch and we are still TEN months out! I'm glad to see there are proactive people in this world! Glad I stumbled upon you all while perusing those lucky enough to visit when discounts are available.

While I do not hold out much hope for a June discount at my resort--hasn't been one for the past two years, I can always hope. I'm even more dejected since there weren't any AAA rates for our room category and dates--or June for that matter. Now, even that one eensy little discount is gone!

So, here's hoping that others balk at paying the ridiculously high rate : that I am and the resort must discount to sell rooms. Hey, I can dream can't I?

BTW, we are booked 6/11-20/08 and we are at the Polynesian.

Just wanted to welcome you all to the party I am sorry it took me so long to add you all to the list. My mom is in the hospital, she had a stroke (at 57) last weekend, so I pretty much haven't had time to check my mail or much else. So thank you, and if any of you have any spare pixie dust to send her way, that would be awesome.

If you see anything amiss on the list of dates and locations, please let me know, I will fix as soon as I can.

DD and I are staying at POP June 10th-19th.

We have been to both WDW and DL before but this will be our first time on Disney property. I cant wait.

Unless DH can't get vaca days scheduled in January, we are going June 29th thru July 7th. We will be staying at Pop.

I'm so sorry to hear about your mom!!!!! How is she doing? Would you mind updating us?

You're our leader with this thread & are keeping things going for the rest of us. Please don't worry about being on-top of things all the time. Life happens. The magic is always there, but sometimes it has to take a backseat or be present in other ways....

You and your mom are in my thoughts and prayers. What is her name? It is always so much more personal to think of someone's mom as....._______.

Take care, rest up, and think positive thoughts!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for the thoughts and prayers, there are so many thoughtful caring people on the boards

Mom seems to be getting better and better everyday. She had temporary total paralysis on her left side, but each day she is able to move more and more I just wish the Drs could give me definates about prognosis, but they can't, its all what her body will let her do. She's young (57), so she has that in her favor. Please keep the thoughts and prayers coming.

Congrats Suzimom! You are lucky you got your airfare too. I need 7 roundtrip airfares from Cleveland to Orlando for June 8-15th. Right now they are a touch over $400 each. I don't want to/ hubby won't pay that. I am hoping to find a better price. I prefer flying Continental but will look at Southwest when their June airfares come out. We do have our room deposits made though.

Well, off to play with my pictures before work, trying to edited some of them for the ongoing massaive Disney Scrapbook...LOL...what was I thinking.

So I thought if we are going to post dates and such, what is everyone planning on doing while at the world, it will be post Flower and Garden, is anyone else hoping that they will bring Pirate and Princess back for the summer? I am hoping so!

Stacy--and where will you be staying, I see you at at the WL in April, will this trip be there as well, seems to be WL and POP are the most popular.

Those are the dates we are looking at as well....pending funds as well...

My family loves POP, I usually stay moderate, but this trip is a gift for my cousins so we are going to spend some time at the resort, per their request and well I was totally happy when they picked the WL

We're heading to Disney in June '08, too! We'll be there June 21 -28. Just made our reservations for All Stars Music. We like to try different resorts each time. My goal is to someday try them all!
