We'll be there May 28th-June 4th!!! We were just there last July and usually only go once every three years, but our daughter was accepted into the college program. I told my husband there was no way I could go 6 months without seeing her!!! The nice side benefit will be seeing Disney as well!!

I live through all of your Disney trips in between visits. Thanks for all the wonderful info, pics, and magical moments!!

The WDWCP is the BEST!! I was there Fall of 93, and still keep in touch with my friends!!

I am bummed. We are going to Disney June 6-12th. I had to wait to make a reservation at Cindy's castle because they want the money up front. Of course everything that would work for me was booked. I wanted an early lunch on June 10th. They had a late lunch 2:30, but that won't work because of BBB appointment. Everyone cross your fingers and hope someone cancels so I can get in. The dinning CM told me to call back 3 days prior to are trip. Just needed to vent. Thanks for being a captive audience.

Add me to the list! :woohoo: DS7 and I are doing a "boys only" trip 6/11/-16. We'll be staying at Pop Century during those few hours each night when we aren't riding, greeting characters, and slurping down snacks. :woohoo:

I am hearing the rumblings about HM being closed. If it is I totally understand, but I hope it won't be. That is definitely one of my all-time faves.

Just made our ressies last night! We'll be there June 9-17 at POR. I'm a little nervous because we are used to going at slower times, like January, so I'm worried about handling the heat and crowds. But, since this will be our 6th trip in 5 years, I think we can probably slow it down a bit, and not worry if we miss a few things. I'm sure we'll be back next January!!!!!!

You sound similar to us! We'll be there June 10-17 at POFQ, it'll be our DD's 5th BD there before she starts Kindergarten :)

Too many snow/cold days here in Northern Illinois...

Had to change our dates from June 5-16 to June 9-20. We are celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary at CRT, DD#2 14th birthday at Chef Mickey's and DD#1 16th birthday. We are celebrating the whole time and may throw son in there just for good measure!

Anyone know more about the H.Mansion being closed in June?? I just read the PP's info but didn't see anything on the WDW website's calendar. We'll be there 6/23-7/2! :confused3

Nothing's definite at the moment. Most widely believed dates that I can find still show it going down over the summer so as to have it back up for MNSSHP. I've been hearing mid-June dates for a while now from those with supposed inside information, but can't vouch for them. All I can say is I believe they have inside information. June 6 is a date that was mentioned. In the last couple of days, some HM CM's apparently said it would go down the last two weeks of May.

Whether it's May or June, going down over the summer seems the best option they have. Jungle Cruise and Space are also in line for major refurbs that it seems are hoped to be completed by the end of next year. HM is a high capacity attraction that they need to have open for their busiest seasons, namely Christmas to New Year's and Spring Break. It also has to be open in Oct. Word is its a 4 month refurb, so over the summer's their best bet.

Please notice my heavy usage of "it seems", "apparently" and "I've been hearing." I think the info I'm hearing is from credible sources, but you just don't know. Plus, nothing is set in stone and I don't believe anyone knows exactly when it will happen yet. You won't see anything on Disney's calendar until the dates are set in stone, and that may not happen for some time yet.

We have ressies for 6/3-9 at VWL, our first time down since becoming members. We've been toying with the idea of adding another day but since we're driving down we probably can't add at the beginning. Another problem is we don't have enough points for a weekend night at the end. It would be a real drag having to switch resorts for one night at the end....Ugh, decisions decisions.

We are going June 12th thru the 18th my wife and I and our 5 kids. WE are staying at POP and cant wait to get there. I have a 7 year old and two 5 year old twins that have never been and are so excited about the trip to DW and also their first plane ride.

bump
I just waded through 10 pages to find this. So I'm bumping to try and help out others. :)

I'm trying to keep up with AP rate codes for after June 2. The past few months, dis has had them first.....and from looking at past release dates on mousesavers......it should be in the next few weeks.

Trying to wait patiently......and hoping......:cool1:

Very excited about our first WDW trip!

Could someone verify for me, that if you go into a park, no matter what time of day, that it counts against 1 day of your pass? So even if you show up an hour before closing, that uses up a whole day?

I'm having a really hard time deciding on ADRs. I have only made 2 so far, both character meals, but I feel like I just can't figure out the best strategy as far as where we'll be & when. Since we're staying off site, most of our meals will be there, but I'd like some at the parks as well. I'm amazed when people post their entire trip with a week or two of meals planned out already!

yes, it takes up a day on your tickets....

The only exception used to be you could get a 30 min pass to run in and buy something from a shop. If you didn't make it back, though, they charged you for a ticket........but I don't know if they still do this. This was a couple of years ago and as we all know....Disney changes constantly.

Since this is your first trip, I suggest subscribing to TourGuideMike or the UG touring plans. Both sites will give you the best park to go to for each day of your vacation. Start there and then plan your ADRs according to what the one you choose says is best.....BTW....their suggestions are diff., but people who use both say they work.

I haven't ever used Touring Plans so I cannot speak to their plans, but I have used TGM for the past 5 years and have never waited in line longer than 15 mins. using his best days info and his sample touring plans.

Have fun planning......that's 1/2 the fun.

:)

This will be our family's first trip 6/7th-6/23rd!! We are staying offsite at CPGV for 9 nights and then to the gulf coast and staying in Clearwater for a week! We are so excited! It's me, DH, DD, and DSis. It will be my DH's first trip and my DD's 2nd..but she was only 2 on her first trip and doesn't really remember anything! I am in full plan mode and a little (ok.A lot) obsessed with the trip planning and possibly driving my DH insane!! :) But I'm luving it at the same time!!

Come on JUNE!!
