Official June 2007 List

Hi All -
We are returning to Disney this summer. We went last August for a short trip. Hubby was just checking out the place. He said we could go back in a few years. So you can just imagine my surprise and delight when he said a June trip is in order. Do you think they dusted him with some pixie dust???
So this year we are staying at All Star Sports from June 18th-24th. I was so dissappointed last year when I didn't meet any DISers despite having 50 LGMH's plastered over myself and stroller. So this year it would be great to see someone!!
Our schedule so far is:
6/18 Arrive Resort, DTD, dinner at Ohana at 6:45 pm
6/19 MK, dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern at 5:50 pm
6/20 AK, dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe at 6pm
6/21 Dinner at Boma (Animal Kingdom Lodge) at 7:30 pm
6/22 Typhoon Lagoon, MK, dinner at Crystal Palace at 5:10 pm
6/23 Epcot, dinner at Akerhous Princess Banquet at 6:15 pm
6/24 Breakfast at Chef Mickey's at 9:50 am, DTD then head home

Since we have two little ones with us (dd2 and dd3) we arent doing anything too fancy.

I have my LGMHs, but I have NO reservations made yet, except for the hotel! I don't even have the airline tickets yet! The rates keep going up and down - I'm hoping a "deal" might materialize!

Planning on 50's PTC, Le Chefs , Rose & Crown... and bluezoo at the Dolphin... aside from that - we'll have to see!

We'll be at Epcot on Saturday the 23rd too. I think it would be wonderful to finally meet some fellow DISers, especially ones that have a cute hubby named Ryan!

So... I've always been a lurker to the boards, but just joined today.

We went to Disney last June 28-July 3, 2006, and because of my great planning, we never stood in a line longer than 30-minutes- great considering the time of the year... But, it was HOT! Boy was it hot. We brought our mini fans that we purchased at Wal-Mart for $0.97. Let me tell you... they worked just as good as the $17.99 ones in Disney!

We had just so much fun that we'll be going back this year-- June 20-25. We've already made our ADRs... 50's Prime Time, Le Cellier, Coral Reef, Raglan Road (at Pleasure Island). I am counting down the days until we leave! Other than the roller coasters, eating is my favorite part of Disney!

Any of you planning to be there at the same time?

We will be in Disney June 19-25th as well. We stay off site though. With 3 kids and one income, we do it the budget way . We went in mid June 2 yrs ago. It was hot for sure. We use to always go off season. Now that my 12 1/2 yr old is in middle school he does not like to be taken out of school anymore. He states too much homework and in class work he misses. So we have to wait until school is out in mid June. I dont mind, at least we are going. We are going to Chef Mickey on June 20th for breakfast..I cant wait, my 2 1/2 yr old will be thrilled to see Mickey up close and personal.
We have all our mist fans from last cruise vacation, so those will be in hand for touring the parks.
I hope you have a great trip....We can count down together...

Disneyolic--- The only chance, unless you are secretly stalking me, that you get to see my handsome husband would be on the 24th!!!!!!! After all of this, I better freakin' get to fock you a bit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At least once!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

25th- Open day to repeat our favorites- Leave at 6:30 pm

We are going 6/18 to 6/28..i think thats the last day. We are staying at POP for the first time. And I cannot wait until I can get on all my favorite rides and eat in evey country again, like I did last year. I am already counting down, there is 3 months and 6 days until we start driving to Disney. And all the talk about a Dole Whip has made me want one so bad. I can't wait to get to the MK to get one. And we haven't made our ADR yet. We will soon.
