We're doing the Star wars dessert party on the 4th. So excited. glad you got everything you wanted. I'm busy messing around with my ADR's today. The things I do after I book FPsPoop just got real...FP's booked! I had no trouble getting the ones I wanted like Frozen and Pandora flight (name?). I simply cannot make up my mind re: Star Wars dessert party vs. Fantasmic dining package!! Good problem to haveBest of luck to my fellow July FP bookers!!
It was free dining last yearDoes anyone know what type of bounceback offers were offered last year to those who visited in July? I just saw on another thread that the current one is room only discount. Wondering if they'll be a new offer by July.
I think the very end of July may have had the option to book FD, but most of the month it was a room discount.Does anyone know what type of bounceback offers were offered last year to those who visited in July? There is often a bit of overlap between Bouncebacks, so I would certainly phone and ask no matter what the bb brochure says. I do know the room only discount bb is bookable til August 15th though.Hhhmm. Okay. Well we are mid-July. I know I'll find out when we arrive but this is my weekend to obsess about Disney since FP window opens soon. lol
So my window for FP opens on Monday, traveling July 8-July 16. I am freaking out a little. My husband has MS and not sure how he will be during the heat of July! I know it wasn't a great time to book but it is what worked with our life! Celebrating DD high school graduation!! So i want to maximize our FP to make sure we ride the rides that he really wants to without having to wait in long lines. So I have a plan, or what I think is a plan! He is a "rope drop" kinda guy so we are hoping to get in and get out to rest and recoup for the night. Hoping to get our 3 that we want and possibly ride 1 by waiting in standard line. Just not sure how my plan will work. Any advice? Not sure when to book our first FP or how close to book the 3 ?
Sounds like a great game plan! ThanksFor a 9am opening, I would book my first one beginning at 9:45am, then 10:45 and 11:45am. I would plan to use the first one close to 10:45am so you have a solid hour and a half to use standbye before the rides get too long. Then once you use your first fp, it's time for your second one. I like to book my first two fp's at rides that are close together like PP/SDMT or BTMR/Splash for this reason. Grab a bite to eat before counter service lines get too long before heading to the third Fp. Then try for a fourth fp.![]()

Going early then leaving is a great strategy in the summer. It's not even enjoyable mid afternoon.Worried about summer heat with my T1d son and his blood sugar dropping. Hoping for the best maybe do early mornings and then back to hotel till dinner
Hello! DH and I are taking our DD for her first trip this summer! She has no idea so I can't wait! We are staying at AoA July 10-16. We live nearby, but this will be our first big vacation for just the three of us that doesn't entail going somewhere to visit family. Neither DH or I have been to MK or Epcot since the 90s in our high school (or younger) days, and neither of us have been to Hollywood Studios or AK, so it should be fun. I'm probably way more excited than DH - he's not a fan of crowds, or a big disney person but he says he'll be more excited once we get there lol.
