~~*Official July 2013 Thread!*~~Our Month has Arrived!

Add us to the list going in July! We (me and my 2 DDs) will arrive on July 24th and check out on August 2nd. We are staying at POR. I have made the following ADRs:

July 24th: Coral Reef (dinner)
July 25th: 1900 Park Fare (dinner to celebrate DD's sweet sixteen)
July 27th: Be Our Guest (dinner)
July 28th: Sci-Fi (dinner)
July 29th: Rose & Crown (dinner)
August 1st: Ohana (dinner to celebrate DD's 19th birthday)

It was really hard trying to find dates that would work this year. Oldest DD will be in Ireland on a study abroad trip at the beginning of summer, and youngest DD will be in band camp in August. I have only been to WDW in June or August, so July will be a new experience for us.

:welcome: I added you to the resort list and will add the ADRs now. I don't find July too much different from June and August temperature wise, but depending on the times you went in June and August, the crowds might be a little different.

Anjalee - I saw you were posting what parks everyone plans to visit, so here is mine.. :goodvibes

Gee I am missing you all! I just booked the Chefs table at Flyin Fish for myself during our trip in March. I will be pretty much solo that trip with two 18 year old boys "doing their own thing" without the mom around! So I decided hey I will do one thing I have always wanted to do... so took the plunge and booked it yesterday!

I'm so happy that I got all of my ADR!

A little background ..

I have a friend in FL, so me & DD went in April of 2010. We got into Disney for free because she has family who work there. We did MK & AK. Our DDs were both 2 1/2 at the time so they couldn't do everything. So I'm beyond excited to get the full experience this time. It will be me, SO & our DD. this is our first real family vacation!

We will be there July 22nd - July 28th. Staying at AOA & are on the dining plan.

My DDs Birthday is July 23rd, she will be turning 6!!

Here are my ADRs-

Monday- Down town Disney
Rain Forest Cafe or Bongos Cuban

Tues-magic kingdom. DDs birthday!
BBB (early morning)
Cinderellas Royal Table (breakfast)

Wed- animal kingdom
Chef mickeys (dinner)

Thurs - Epcot
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall - (breakfast)

Fri-Hollywood studios
50s prime time (dinner)

Sat- magic kingdom
Crystals palace (breakfast)
Pirates league (afternoon)

Sun- no park
DTD or just hanging out at the pool & walking around our resort.

I'm super excited & can't wait for this trip. It's also a surprise for our DD, we will tell her the day before we leave. I've already started ordering her all the custom outfits! :wizard:

My dearest darling niece 24 asked if her boyfriend can go with us, we said yes...so there is now 11 of us! DH, DD6 and myself are the only disney vets on the trip. Everybody else either hasn't been, hasn't been in 13 yrs or gone once or twice. We are going to do 3 day base tix (going back and forth on the park hoppers) and one day at universal. Please let me know if this looks like a good plan for the week. Our ages range from DD6 all the way to my friend's DH40.

Sunday July 7 - arrival day. getting settled in at the resort and swimming or whatever.
Monday - Universal 1 day park to park
Tuesday - Magic Kingdom with dinner at Chef Mickey's for my friends daughters birthday.
Wednesday - relaxing at resort, DTD
Thursday - Epcot
Friday - Hollywood Studios
Saturday - relax, and get ready to head home on sunday.

Does this seem like a reasonable week considering almost everybody is a newbie? Is there anything i should change? Meals will either be in the condo or QS.

I added your information.

The only thing that I wonder is if you will have enough time at Magic Kingdom. We never find that one day is enough to get everything done. Since you have the park hopper, you might want to hop over to Magic Kingdom one night. Just a thought. We always fine we are done Hollywood Studios by 5 at the latest, when we arrive early in the morning. I think your plan looks good.

How is the condo hunt going? Any luck?

We were there Sat. and Sun. We made an offer on one and they accepted it!! I can't believe this is actually happening!!!

We ate at Il Mulino in the Swan Friday night after getting off the plane. We then walked on the BW and had a drink at Jellyrolls.

We had a wonderful celebration dinner at our favorite restaurant- Narcoossees Sat. night and watched wishes while eating dessert.:) Then went shopping in DTD.

It was a great weekend. I defianately got my Disney fix.

Sounds like a PERFECT weekend!!!

I have had thoughts on trying Narcoossees or Il Mulino this year!!! Like to try at least 2 - 3 new restaurants this year, just having a hard time deciding which ones :)

anjalee - thanks! :) you have a point about MK, and since we'll be there in July the parks will be open later making it easier to hop :) I also really can't see us spending an entire day at Epcot, so maybe we can hit MK that night as well.

I'm going in April now too!!! Yay!!! So excited

I'm also driving down with DH next Friday and staying a few days. Not going to Disney though. Maybe go down there to eat.

I have NEVER been to FL so many times in one year.
