~~*Official July 2013 Thread!*~~Our Month has Arrived!

Well, I went ahead with the begining phase of "Option 2 Vacation", just in case we have to move our dates from May/June to middle of July. Southwest had really good prices for July, so I booked the tickets for July 19 to the 27th!!

I figure if I need to change our rooms (which I won't know until mid April), that at least my airline won't have gone way up in price!!

So I now look like a crazy person with Room and ADR's for May/June and NO airline........and Airline and some ADR's for July with NO rooms :)

I second that! It's exactly what we are doing! June for DD18's graduation trip and July/August for DD11's birthday trip. :cool1:

I LOVE your ideas!!!!

Maybe I'll pour DH a nice glass of wine tonight, and present that option to him. :rotfl2:

Hey all! :)

Sitting here is miserable weather reading up on all things Disney and trawling through all the restaurant info trying to decide whether to book ADRs or not. Have booked CP for 8.35 am on 21 July and BOG for 8.30 pm on 24th. Not loving the look of the BOG menu for me for dinner tbh (I'm veggie) but really want to see the place. Will try and do lunch instead and cancel if we do but didn't want to miss out on the place altogether.

Dining plan is being a total pain and not linking to my booking meaning I can only book 180 days and giving a cc guarantee. So I'm having to do it day by day. Probably won't book much though as hate being tied to having to do certain things on certain days, like to be a bit flexible.

Any fabulous restaurants you'd recommend that have a veggie choice and suit a 5 year old?

Soooooooooooo looking forward to this trip now. Need to REALLY get saving!

Looks like July it is!!!

On the phone now trying to cancel my May/June reservation (on hold for 10 min the first time, trying again for a human now).

Our dates will be July 19-27th, YC/BC.

Dining will hopefully be:
Be Our Guest
Via Napoli
Cape May
Sanaa
Artist Point or Bluezoo or Flying Fish or Yachtsman
Liberty Tree Tavern
Yak & Yeti

Can't wait to begin the countdown!!!

I feel the same way about BOG. I really want to see the inside, but I really am not partial to the menu. I think we might just try it as a QS.

I added you to the list. Welcome officially. :welcome:

I feel the same way. Not fond of the BOG's Lunch menu, so we opt to try Dinner. Menu looks a little better..:rolleyes1

Girl's want to see Belle and Beast so we have to go!!!

Phew!! After another 20 min hold, I was finally able to cancel the reservations.

Thanks for the Welcome!

I guess now I'll be on the lookout for July discounts or maybe by some CRAZY chance the Pin Gods will shine down on me :lmao:

Last year, it was the beginning of April when a room only discount came out for July and we were able to apply it to our reservation. It was for 15-25% off the room portion. Hopefully that will be the case again, if not something better. I booked with a AaA discount, but I am hoping something better comes along.

So we are trying to change things up a little and try Seaworld one day this trip. Anyone have any suggestions on was to get there without a rental car? I have been doing research, but not a lot of ideas a geared towards people with young kids.

Great!! I'll try and be patient, which usually doesn't work to well according to DH.

In the meantime I will make, change and cancel ADR's. At least I have my airfare booked.

Hi everyone!
I'm super excited for my upcoming trip. It will be me, SO & our DD who will be turning 6 during our trip! We will be there July 22nd-28th. Ill be reading over this thread later!

Can't wait till July. We booked via UK the POFQ with QSDP for free. We, that's my DH and my two sons (10, 14). We will stay for 3 weeks, arriving 07/08/13. I'm so excited.

I just have made one ADR for a character meal. It will be 07/10/13 13:35pm Tusker House. :)

I never did that kind of planning for our WDW vacation before :). But we also never stayed at a moderate with DP before, only value or offsite.

By the way, I'm new registrated here, but I liked always to read the reviews here before.

We stayed at POFQ last time we went. It's a lovely little resort and nice to walk along to POR which had a decent QS foodcourt to eat your free meals! ;)

We keep saying we'll do 3 weeks next time but then it never works out that way! Next time! :lmao:
