Well the trip is finally going to "officially" start today!!

Still not completely packed, we should head out for New Orleans around 2 - 3:00, check in near airport, have a nice dinner and try to fall asleep...........not sure how hard that last part is going to be!!!

It's been 6 years since we've been to Disney, so it feels like the first time all over again.

i just realized an hour ago that i left my bat charger for my camera in quebec -

i'm so ticked off because now i have to go out to buy either another one or a micro mini cable to charge the bat

I have always been a last minute packer. My plan is to have everything packed before I go to work on Wednesday so I can do stuff around the house on Wednesday night.

So this morning in my quiet neighborhood in Germantown, MD there was an earthquake that woke me up from a great sleep. I have never felt an earthquake especially in MD, so it was a weird feeling for me. Didn't know what was happening, but now we do. 3.6 earthquake right down the street from my house. Not a big one, but this doesn't happen around here very often. What a way to start my weekend wait for Disney!!!! lol.

I saw that on the news!! DH and I lived in Bel Air for 4 years before we moved to SC, so we still have a lot of friends in the Baltimore/DC area. I've talked to a couple of them today, so weird! Glad there wasn't any damage or injuries

My husband just totally FLOORED me!!!! He said, 'Do you know what I'm super excited about?' I'm thinking TOT, RNRC, the yummy food, etc.... Nope, he says 'shopping at AKL for things for our guest room!' We just built a house a little over a year ago and he's been so into 'decorating' (or at least the man version of it.) We decided our guest room is going to be decorated with like an AK theme, so we thought staying at AKL and shopping in the gift shop would be a great idea!! I was totally floored (and EXCITED!) that he is actually looking forward to SHOPPING!

We did have a major itinerary change. We were planning on driving (18 hours each way), but I found an awesome last minute deal on Southwest. $229 per person, round-trip, nonstop from San Antonio to Orlando. DD was so excited she squealed, which is rare occurrence with my cynical child.
