We leave 1 week from today! :cool1: Anyone else leave next Friday too?

I really want to start packing but I can't do too much until it gets closer. So close!

Hey..quick Airtran question.. Do they count purses and laptop cases as carryons?? I know most airlines don't count purses, I am not sure about Laptops..
I am trying to plan our carryons. Gabby will have her own with her activity book and probably her DS or Leapster(maybe both), I also want to carry on our swimsuits so I am thinking about making that be DH's Carry on..but I also wanna carry on some snacks....

ok back 3 pages to catch up!!LOL

found my answer Carry On
For carry-on baggage, all customers traveling on AirTran Airways will be restricted to one carry-on item and one personal item. Personal items include handbags, umbrellas, walking sticks, coats, cameras, reading matter, infant food, briefcases, and laptop computers.

Printed the boarding pass...already put them in the car....now I just have to make it thru 4 more hours of work....and how much work do you think will get done....:rolleyes1 not much since everything is done:woohoo:

Can't wait till 5. I get to head home load the car and off to the airport to stay the night....

We leave Sun. but have a wedding Sat/ Sat night. We will have to be packed when we head to my parents on Sun for a bday party for my dad. (I imagine that the whole time we are there I will be stressing about what I forgot!!) :lmao:

It's crazy!! And this excitement is all bottled up as I don't have anyone to share it with. :lmao:

We are dancing for you!!! :cool1::cool1::cool1::yay: :dance3:

LOVE IT!!

I just ordered baggalini messenger bags (green of course). I'd love to hear some opinions from each of you about messenger bags. Do you use them? This is the post from my PTR where I have pics of the bags I ordered.

Baggallini lime green and leaf green messenger bags
I have a sensible Khaki and a BRIGHT yellow--love those bags!
You'd be amazed at how much they hold.

I think all airlines have the policy of 1 carry-on (like a small suitcase or duffle) and 1 personal item (like a purse or laptop). AT does have internet on their flights. DH got it last year to work while we flew.

I have my boarding passes, too!:dance3: I checked in at exactly 24 hrs and we got B5 thru B8 for the first leg, A35 thru A38 for the second. I paid for EBCI on the return flight(and we have no connection, so that'll be nice) I am finishing some laundry, then I have to pack!:scared1: I plan to be in bed at 9, take a benadryl first, and hopefully I'll sleep.

We have a wedding to go to that weekend as well, but it's on Sunday and in Orlando. So we have to take half a day out of our trip but I'm looking forward to it. :)

We have a list-minute trip planned now (just booked yesterday morning!) for July 7-10, just DH and me. Will be at SSR July 7 and then BWV July 8 and 9, leaving on the 10th. Quick trip without kids. I HATE the heat and crowds, so it will be a more relaxed trip. We are using the remainder of our DVC points for the year and APs that expire in August. Will do dinner at California Grill one night, Hoop-Dee-Doo another night (a first for us!), a few must-do rides and then just whatever we feel like the rest of the time, enjoying the resorts! I've always wanted to stay at BW! Walk through the International Gateway for a Grand Marnier slush in France... yeah baby! Also want to check out Jellyrolls one night. Ya know, things we wouldn't necessarily get to do if the kids were with us. :thumbsup2

sooooo excited!!! (The kids don't even know we're going and we don't plan on telling them... will have to hide pics!!)

We're leaving on Thursday...WOO-HOO!!!

DH's leg is doing better today. We took the kids to the beach this morning, but DH didn't go in the water (salt water would be WAY too painful!). When we got home he went right into the shower as soon as I was finished bathing the boys...he seems to be doing fine, thank goodness!

So...this evening my sister is making a BBQ for her fiance's birthday (which is tomorrow). There will be 30 people there and it will be fun! Tomorrow we are going to Six Flags Great Adventure with the rest of the family, to continue celebrating his birthday! Sunday is a BBQ at our house for the 4th, Monday we are going to the zoo with DMIL & DFIL. Tuesday and Wednesday are set aside for laundry, cleaning and packing! Wednesday morning I'm going to Weight Watchers to get in my monthly weigh-in for July before the trip! And Wednesday evening we will continue with our usual pre-vacation tradition and order pizza for dinner! Thursday morning as soon as we leave the house, we'll stop by the bagel store to pick up some bagels to eat about 3 hours after we hit the road. That is usually Baltimore for us, and it will be rush hour so we stop to eat and then the traffic subsides. We'll just have a light snack before we leave the house to hold us over...I'm mainly concerned for the boys so they don't have to go a few hours without eating.

I like it that we are busy the next few days because it will make the time fly by...and then the only 2 free days we have will be spent packing and preparing for the trip!

won't be long now...my sister is having a great time there as a CM, although she says it does rain 2-3 times a week. When it rains it rains HARD, so pack those ponchos.

You aren't too far behind!

I did online check in for Jambo House - I put on AK Park Music. :lmao: I was so nervous that I'd mess up. haha. It made it more real - nine days until we hit the road!

Welcome to the thread!!!

Of all your ADRs, I have been to both Biergarten dinner and Crystal Palace dinner. This was in July 2008. We loved them both! We are big fans of German food, but VERY picky when it comes to German food and it was amazing at Biergarten! The entertainment was also a lot of fun. It was the 4 of us and we were seated with a very nice gentleman and his daughter (she was around 8 years old if I recall correctly). No one else was seated with us even though the tables there each hold 8 people. We like sitting with new people and talking to them. I know that some people are not into that but it really does not bother us at all.

DH and I also enjoy meeting other people on our trips. On one of our trips, we were doing the Living with the Land boat ride and sat next to this gentleman and it was one of the highlights of our trip! He was an older gentleman who had lost his wife a few years ago. He lived about 2 hours from WDW and went there EVERY WEEKEND. Work during the week kept his mind occupied and then WDW to stay occupied on the weekends. It was just neat that this man apparently loved and missed his wife so dearly. He was also a veteran, and so my DH (who served about 6 years in the Navy a while back) enjoyed talking to him about military life. Now that you have mentioned it, I am thinking about trying out Biergarten just for that reason!! Hmmm... gonna have to call and see if I can get an ADR for next week!

I have to admit that every time I come on here to catch up on post's my heart races with excitement! Down to 11 days! This means that tomarrow I get to do my online check in! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

I've heard 2 opinions about doing the online check in though. Some have said if you do the online check in you might miss out on some of the magic you might see upon check in? I would think either way you have to get your KTTW so you would have to go to the check in desk right? Can someone clarify this with me?
