OK, I'm sorry to be a pain in the neck, but...
We're no longer having lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern on July 21st. We changed it to lunch at Plaza Restaurant at 12:00 PM on July 21st.

OK - just had to add the ticker so I could see the actual number of days. I just never know whether to put the day we leave for Disney or the day we arrive since we drive.......we arrive July 1st, so that is what I used....

I used the day we actually arrive at WDW. We leave 5 days sooner for the drive and to visit relatives in Boca Raton for a few days.

No way! I would use the day I left. That is when the vacation officially starts, even if you are on the road or making stops along the way.

Both good points, since mine is only 1 day off - I guess it does not matter. But, I can see - if it were a week off then it might.
It just helps to see the number of days, although the other ticker is more interesting!

You're right but...see, I'm a complete nut...if I see it is now 98 days away, I know the vacation will actually start 5 days earlier and it makes me feel better! Like it will come quicker or something...I told you, I'm a nut!

That makes complete sense to me! Like when the clock in my car started to become a little fast, I didn't change it because I got used to it saying a certain time but I liked knowing I actually had 3 extra minutes.
We drive down and my clock starts to click the minute we get into the car. We make visits on the way down and we don't reach Disney for two days but, as soon as I put the last bag in the car - We are on Vacation - I have 94 days and counting!

It's funny, I saw my parents a little while ago...they are joining us the first few days at Disney, and also in Boca Raton. They are not driving all the way down, they are taking the auto train from VA. I told them that we are 98 days from checking in at Disney, to which my dad replied, "How many days until we get onto the train?"

how do they like the train? we were thinking of taking i back home not this trip but the next trip since it will be January and we won't have the luxury of 3 weeks
do they sit up all night or have a bed room? is it clean? do they (and i guess they do) think it's worth it?
