Looks like we'll see you there! We have a reservation for DH and myself (kids at the Neverland club) at Narcoossee's on the 24th at 8:30 (so we can watch Wishes too)! Looks like great minds think alike.

I am soooo looking forward to this meal! This will be our arrival day dinner, and I just thought it would be the perfect way to start our trip. This will also be my first ever signature restaurant!

What is Narcoossee's and why does everyone want to eat there?
This is the first time I haven't just bought a ticket and walked in - so I'm not as familiar with this stuff as you all are!
Also, what's Tony's? Is that Italian?

Narcoosees is a restaurant over at the Grand Floridian, it sits right near the water. I believe it is a more expensive restaurant with very good food. Tony's is in the Magic Kingdom - aka Tony's Town Square - it is modeled after the restaurant from Lady and the Tramp - and yes, it is Italian.

I would recommend going to the http://allears.net/index.html site and taking a look under Dining , they have all the menus from all the restaurants. It is a very helpful site when looking at dining.

I am so happy to hear positive reviews of Narcoossee's! I have had an ADR for it the last 3 trips, but it always seems to be the one to get cancelled. I hope it doesn't this time. I'm definitely a seafood fan, and so are Dh and DS. DD is NOT, but she'd eat steak, so all is good!

Ahhhhhh, Narcoosee!!

This restaurant is mine and my DH's date night place at Disney (ever since PI went family friendly and of course, is gone now...).

You don't just eat here ... you have an experience!

This is what we do:
Plan on a few hours. Find out what time the fireworks at MK are planned and then make our dinner about 1 to 1.5 hours prior.

Order appetizer (we get the mussels -- they are terrific and I'm NOT really a mussels fan. I'm not sure what they do to them, but we love em!)

Order bottle of wine. Once again, we rarely order wine with our meals, but it's a special occasion.

Eat entree. I usually get the (cooked) fish and my DH loves their Ahi Tuna (basically raw). Order dessert to share.

Go outside and watch the fireworks while your server clears the table.

Eat dessert.

Waddle relaxingly from the table to watch the Electrical Water Pageant and walk around the resort.

Then take a spin on the monorail to visit Contemporary or Polynesian. Go to the shops, sway on a hammock. Take a boat ride across to MK and back again. Sit and watch the stars under a palm tree.

I feel relaxed already, just by writing this post!

That sounds like a great date night! Hmmmm, I think I need to rearrange my nights so I can get a date night in there somewhere..... We skipped date night last trip, but I think we should start back up again.

yes i think you are, we are goin from july 26-30 stay at WLV...Turf club is amazing! we visit there everytime we are at disney!
