Still finalizing our daily plans - needs to be done by this weekend, since our ADR window is open Tuesday! Will post them as soon as I get my spreadsheet filled out!

I was just working on our daily plans today too. I have to make our ADRs on Thursday.

I find myself in a real rut. We've been in July several times, and I know what works good, and I know where we've eaten at in the past, and I know what we liked, so I have a hard time venturing out to try something different that we may not like as much as what I had to "give up" to try the new. Anyone else have this problem? It's compounded by the "picky eater" factor (the wife not the kids, if you can believe it!).

We are going to try the Harry Potter park as well my dd16 is crazy over harry potter we are going to be at my aunts condo for the week of june 26-july2nd so we will go to IOA to harry potter that week we have never been to Universal ever.

then from july 2nd to july 10th we will be at POR and we will do nothng but disney that week I can not wait this is the first two week vacation we have taken in many years.

The only reason my husband aggreed to such a long and exspensive vacation is because it is our 20th wedding anniversary and he asked what I wanted and I told him I wanted to go to disney of course. Gotta Love Mickeymouse

I have the same problem as your wife! If you are comfortable with places that you know you will like they do it! We repeat all the time! Maybe just try one or two new places.

I meant that I have the park hours and now I have renewed my TGM membership to see which parks would be smarter and try to do ADR's around then, most likely for dinner time when the weather will be cooler. I figure DH will not want to be up super early for a park breakfast and lunch we can head back to the hotel if it's super hot. My dress code will have me hotter faster than the rest of my fam so if I can't take it, we're going in! Or shopping... Thanks for the heads-up on park hour changing! I would be so mad to get there only to be told to turn back. That happened one day to us when we went to Six Flags

How's Shutters at CBR? I figure it's right there so lunch or dinner there doesn't seem so out of reach

July was my second choice for a stay (spring break was first). I guess I could've waited until August but I booked at lower airfare and I wanted to see my fam faster

You are welcome. As for Shutters, I am embarrassed to say we did not eat there. I should have made an effort, but we just never got around to it. Since we had a car we ate off site one night. We did counter service there a few times.

You are quite welcome to hang out with us here!! Too bad last year's July group is not repeating too. I'll be anxious to hear how June is. I had hoped to try earlier in June, DS's birthday is 6/16 - but DD is an aide for Girl Scout Day Camp - and that is the week of June 21st so we had to wait and go after that week.

I found a map on allears MAP! and I"m thinking about requesting either buildings 14, 18, 27, 38 or mansions 80/85. I'm going to tell them to please put me in any of those buildings! I don't want to be too specific because it's such a busy time. Last time we were there we were in building 28 and it was the worst!!! Once you even got to the building you had to walk around back to find our room. It was so long! And then our bus stop was the West depot and it was like a maze trying to get there and back, especially at the end of a long day when all you want to do is get in your bed, the LAST thing we wanted was to be lost on these winding paths!

I have always thought POR looks confusing, which is one reason we have hesitated about staying there. I hope you get a convenient building. Last summer at CBR, DH & I kept getting lost on the way to our room. The kids always knew the way but if they ran ahead, we were wandering. It was kind of funny, but frustrating too.

Oh that's kind of annoying! If you still don't know by Monday, I would just make the ADRs for that number of people that you know for sure are going and then try to change them later. And if you can't...too bad for them!
